Cherokee Ridge Country Club

The course was in great condition. The staff was very friendly and the grill was very nice and clean. Over all this is a very good course to play.

Front nine has nice layout, Wide fairways and big greens,a fun relaxing half round. Then, there is the back nine, one of the more challenging I have played in a while, it is like daylight and dark. Don't get me wrong. I love a good challenge and this course provides plenty of it. Great course. Hope to play many more times.

This one of the outstanding courses in the area. The layout is really challenging and the scenery is beautiful. The front nine is fair with good opportunities to score. The back nine is more difficult with a lot more challenges. Overall, this is a course that I could play everyday and be happy to be there.

Greens in bad shape. Sand traps were horrible. Fairways were decent. Play was extremely slow due to many slow foursomes. Also, people were basically driving their carts much too close to greens.

A golf course that is set in the mountains that has plenty of elevation changes. The course is in really good shape, the greens were pretty good .It is one of my favorite courses too play.

Love how the course is laid out. Never any confusion to which fairway to play. Great scenery as well.

Greens have not been in very good condition the times I have played there this summer. Weeds and very thin grass on green, a lot of sand on the greens. When I played on 9/9/17 the greens had been aerated and sanded recently. Overall nice course.

This is my second visit and I must admit I left feeling much like I did after my initial round.

This Sammy Dean layout is really good - fun holes that are unique and quirky. But the experience is diminished by lackluster greens. I am a bit confused with what the club is trying to do. The greens are bentgrass, which struggle in the Deep South heat even with the best care. However, only half the holes have greenside fans and several of those weren't running. The greens were stressed. Bare patches were present and a general thinness was pervasive. The back nine was better than front.

The bones of this course are so good. I wish the club would change the greens to Tift so that it could fulfill its potential. The par threes are awesome. The par-5 10th hole is one of the best I've ever played. This course could be one of the best public tracks in North Alabama, but the greens need to improve first.

It's a good play for a GolfNow hot deal. Not sure if it's worth rack rate.

Awesome golf course. Course lay out is excellent. Beautiful trees and a breath taking Lake enhance the playing experience. One of the best golf courses in North Alabama by far.

Challenging course but great greens, fairway, and rough! Beautiful views on multiple holes! Large waterfall on the back 9!

This course is in immaculate condition. For an average golfer it is just challenging enough to be fun and not frustrating. I recommend any avid golfer in North Alabama to play this course at least once. As a side note, back when there was a Nike tour, this was one of their venues.

Course is in really good condition from tee to green. A couple of bunkers could use some work but overall no complaints. They are stingy on the range balls-the bag had about 20 balls.
