Good distance on par 4 and 5 ,

short par 3 that I like to test your low irons . The greens where fairly good couple of them need work . Fun course with a group.

Great to have this course in the middle of our city. We will play there again and again.

Pace of play was not an issue and the course was in pretty good shape.

My round of golf started just before 12:15pm on a Saturday evening. Being that it was football season there were quite a few more guys than I would have expected, but with the local teams both teeing off later that evening I guess I should not have been too shocked. The pace of play was good. There was this one pairing that I had to get in front of, and after that I probably could have finished 18 in just over 2 hours.
I enjoy this course, but just be aware that on some days it is very busy since it's affordable and located in the middle of town.

Had a great time but injured when play there. Fell over and hurt my arm. So had to stop at 8th hole. How can I get a rain check from 10th to 18th? Anyway plan to go there once a week.

This course is much better than Howell or Dumas. Overall, it's pretty boring but fairly well kept and a good value for the price.

The was under major construction and many of the holes were taken out and moved. Staff didn't even inform us of the changes and what to expect. I assume that once the course is finished it may have a better play.

Being that I've only been playing since this May, some of my ratings may be a bit skewed. I enjoy all the local courses in baton rouge. Can't beat it for the money.

We did only play a few holes before being rained out but from what I did see this course was bad. You could barely tell in some places where the fairway ended and the rough began. The greens were not very good. There were people hitting into us on a couple different holes. Definitely my last trip there.

Overall the course was in great shape and I love using your website. However, the greens had just been aerated and I was unaware of this when I booked the tee time on golfnow.com. As a one of your customers, it would be nice to know this before I book the tee time. Would it be possible for you guys to include a note to let us know when greens have just be aerated?

If you're looking to play an inexpensive round of golf on a course that's not in the best condition, this is the place. Too many bare spots on the fairways and some of the greens had bare spots as well. The tee boxes were also in poor shape. The course is fairly flat, so it's easy to walk. The pace of play was OK for a weekday afternoon, but I'd guess it would be slow on a weekend.

Course was wet and sloppy in some areas. Greens were not in good shape.

Good course. Very friendly staff. Registering for my handicap was quick and easy. Would recommend this course.

To me, this is the quintessential municipal course. It's fun, it's vibrant. The golf is enjoyable without being super nice. It's right in the middle of the city in extremely value land.

I've simply always enjoyed every round there.

The course was being freshly cut but all the clippings were left in the fairway.

Course isn't difficult. All of the holes are straight shots with a few pretty short par 3s mixed in. Maintained well and staff is friendly but a lot of the holes are close to busy streets making for a pretty loud round.

This golf was in very good condition. I had played it about a year ago during the summer and it was dry and dusty. Today the course was very good considering all the rain we have had as of late. The greens were very filled in and putted nicely. The fairway grasses were very full considering the course had just been cut. An overall good experience and enjoyable round on an overcast 75 degree day and we just beat the rain.
