I wish this course was closer to my house.
I will not sugar coat this review, it was a fun course. I’m an average hacker and I really like this course. A little short, so we mixed playing from the Blues and the Whites. My only and I stress only comment I have is there needs to be some more signage out there directing where some of the tee box locations. Got confused but a couple of guys in our group had played the course and aided in getting around the course. Great variety of short and long hole locations for the Par 3’a & 4’s. I blew up on the #1 & 2 HC holes as expected. I’ll be cautious next time. I am planning on coming back.
Nice course
Played this course solely because it was on Golfnow site. It was shorter than I thought it would be, but the dog legs and the trees made it a challenge. The fairways were close together and we got hit into a couple of times by the groups on other holes. All this being said I shot the best round of my life today and enjoyed the round. I also feel like they must have had an event due to signage still being up and the greens were a little tore up. Not enough people are repairing their ball marks on the greens
Good course for the money
Course was in good shape. Plays a little tight in spots, but the layout is enjoyable. One I like to play once a year.
Good Enough
Skippack does a good job of keeping the course just good enough. Tee boxes tend to be hard and the greens are decent. Fairways definitely could be better and many areas of rough are just patchy dirt. For the cost, though, it’s what you expect. Good enough to play there again, but it’s not going to be on the top of anyone’s list.
Sunday golf
Not a bad course if you want to knit. No cart girl, no rangers. Cart Path only on a dry course. Won’t be back
First time at Skippack
Not a super challenging course (par 70) which was fine with me as this was my first time out this summer and first time playing this course. I will return when we get some more pleasant weather. Very little water and not a lot of sand traps. Out of bounds is tight on many holes but if you can hit it straight. you should score well. A relatively short course even from the blues, maybe an average of twelve yards longer than the whites. Greens were fairly easy to read and definitely fast downhill but abused by goof balls not fixing divots. A.very nice pace of play this morning and I was pleased we got it done in three and half hours.
Course was overbooked and staff did not control parties showing up late to tee times. Also allowed groups to tee off 30 minutes early, which created an 8 party jam at the 10 tee. Course was far too expensive for lack of management
