Great conditions for this course
With so few rounds played this year the course is in beautiful condition. Typically for this course at this time of year the tees are kind of chewed up and the fairways need more attention than they get. Right now, though, everything is in really great shape.
Exceptional Course Conditions
The course currently is in excellent condition with the greens very fast and the sand fluffy and the fairways lush.
Great golf course
I’m new to the area and have been playing this course since last year, long before this crazy virus. Skippack is a very nice course, great layout with some great holes. Today we walked due the virus restrictions, this was a bit of a tough walk for our group as we are on the older side (50’s). This course is always in great shape and the workers are always very friendly. I’m glad this course is close to home and I highly recommend Skippack Golf Course. Thanks.
Winter Golf
I really can’t complain about a thing when you get to play golf in February. Surprisingly, the course was in really good shape. A few holes had some scattered debris, but nothing that couldn’t be managed. The greens were good, had a bit of speed, but low spots were wet and spongy (not a huge deal). Staff was helpful and friendly throughput the day. I’ve played this course a few times and starting to really enjoy the layout and quirks it has. I will definitely be playing again.
Great value., course was in good shape
I played a couple days after Christmas. There were two holes cut on each green, which is a good way to keep the area around the hole from wearing out. Kudos to the greenskeeper.
Problem is, the group in front of us, and many other groups, were not placing the pin in the other hole after they played out.
Maybe they don’t know about this, but that’s what golfers should do when the staff has provided two holes.
Hey it was Thursday in November
Very challenging course and well kept this summer. Now we're the beneficiaries of the fall overseed and lighter traffic. Fairways were in great shape Greens are well maintained
Decent round
For a cold November day. Course was in good shape, greens were quick and a very good value.
Rained Out
We got to Skippack in the pouring rain and decided to cancel, the pro shop could not have been nicer in handling the cancellation. Great group of folks at this course. We will be back soon to grab a late season round
Skippack
First time golfing. Challenging course. Staff on top of everything, course was in awesome condition. Starter wanted everyone at tee 10 minutes in advance-roll call-like was awesome. Aerated greens yes but they notified via Golfnow. 35 bucks, and this is a place I’ll be revisiting often. Had rain the night before and could still hit any shot, walk without sogginess. Keep doing what you’re doing. Skippack GC is a new favorite. Other local courses can’t measure up
Skippack GC
First time playing Skippack. Have played all the local courses and this one stands out. Had an early tee time and the starter asked to be ready at the tee area within 10 minutes of the tee time. Nice little bar/food area and restaurant. Course conditions were best I’ve seen of courses in the area. Greens were Aerated but they notified on GolfNow. Also, the day after rain, fairways were not soggy, fully hittable. It’s a gem. Everybody was on top of their jobs. I will be playing here much more next season, as this season is soon coming to an end. For the golfer, a challenging course and tight fairways. Great job guys!
Fun course.
Super tight fairways make for challenging drives but a fun layout. Not very tough otherwise other than a monster of a par 4 on the back nine that was one of the most unforgiving holes I've ever played. Greens were very well kept though the fairways were a little spotty. All in all had a great round. Very excited to play again.
Skippack Golf
Have played Skippack for many, many years and have watched course go through many management changes. This group has been the hands down best.
