I have to admit, it hurts me to make a review because I never want to be that guy...but I will say, this course is the worst course I have ever played on. I don't need anything fancy, but this course was in worse conditions than expected. Many of the greens had large sand mounds that you had to putt around. There were several greens that were in such poor shape that the grass wasn't even cut and there were weeds everywhere. Some of the Greens I honestly couldn't call a green. I truly feel they should not charge even $25 to play this course.

The course has a great layout and they were devastated by floods after the hurricane so they are trying. The staff, husband and wife I think, were so nice , he walked outside and explained every hole to me and what they had going on. They have 2 temporary greens/holes but they have turf coming soon. I’ll check back in 6 months and see what’s up.

Fun course to play, the greens need some work but the new owners of two years know that and are working on it. Like I said in my review title they literally treat you like family. I wish they were a little closer to home I would probably play there once a week at least.

I have played this course since the 80s. Currently greens not in great shape. Layout is great , carts are up to date and fairways ok. Staff is super friendly. Good value for the money , just know the greens are sub par and enjoy the course !

Showed up here understanding the greens weren’t all going to be in great shape. Ended up playing a second round due to how much fun we had. almost all the fairways were amazing and the course layout is great. Staff was awesome. Can’t wait to return.

Great layout. Super friendly owner / staff . Greens are the issue here , but they are working to improve them. I always enjoy this course , hopefully that get the greens in shape !

Unfortunately this course just reopened after Being shut down for a while, and is in very bad shape. Greens were terrible to putt on, Fairways were loaded with Crab grass. But surprisingly I did not have any terrible lies. Greens need to be completely done

On the positive side the gentleman running the course was very friendly and welcoming and honest about the condition of the course which I did know from reading reviews. I did enjoy the layout and I think once they're able to get conditions back to normal it will be a great local golf course. Unfortunately this will take some time.

The greens were in poor shape. Fairways were in good shape. The sand traps were poor. The staff was friendly. Overall, it was a long drive for bad golf.

This course is not putting any money it may have toward upkeep or improvements. The fairways are a mixture of wild field grasses and the greens are very slow due to the long grass. I got the impression that they were struggling to stay open. There weren't even any water coolers on the course on a hot day.

This course plays LONG even for Seniors and Ladies period. It is EXTREMELY challenging due to MANY bunkers and water hazards. Most holes have multiple bunkers in the front and side and some water.

AND the greens are sloped at 133 and fast and tricky. AND there are a number of Forced Carries on some holes. The back nine has beautiful and expensive houses.

This course is NOT for beginners unless you wish to score 150. A good golfer will find it very hard to get 90-100 scoring.

Work is being done to the clubhouse which should improve things. The course shows signs of improvement, it still needs a better stand of grass on some of the greens and fairways, just a few greens had some bad areas, nothing terrible. Edges of the course good be better maintained, but it's the age old story, without more play you don't have the capital to put into the course. Still a very good layout, just needs a little more TLC, but I think it is very playable in its present condition.

Really made it a bargain to play there but even that I don't believe I will be back.

I enjoyed playing here. They need to get some more grass in the fairway. The greens were okay, but some of them need attention. I'm sure conditions will improve as the weather gets warmer. The staff is very friendly. We started around ll:45 am and played 36 holes. I will come back for another round or two in the future.

Great little course hidden in Bamberg. Recommend making drive to check it out. Staff was real freindly and course well maintained. Fairways were in great shape with good grass. Greens were recently punched , but were in decent shape all but one hole, which they were working on. Not a bad deal for the money.
