Winter golf
The fairways are a little rough from the summer season. A lot of bare spots and divots. The spring season will be a welcome growth period for the new season. A bit of construction by the 2nd green. Very rough repairs. Still a good time to golf in the winter when your from the northern Rockies. Looking forward to coming back in a couple months.
Winter golf
We enjoyed the course and the staff was very helpful as it was our first time to play here. We will keep this course on our list next time we travel by Kingman, AZ
A nice round of golf
No matter where you play every course has a hole that will make you think of that course. Holes 16-18 on this course are pretty cool. It’s not in the best shape but the staff is really nice and the food is good and the greens roll nice.
Hidden gem.
What a treat! Course in great shape. Nice variety of holes. Everyone super friendly!
For the price we paid, we got what we expected. It is a pretty course, has some challenges so it keeps the game interesting.
As mentioned before, tee boxes needed mowing. Same traps are pretty hard packed but playable. Overall an enjoyable round.
Not in my Top 50
I always like to end with a positive note. But first, the not-so-positive notes.
On the day I played, it seemed that they don't mow the tee boxes very much, at least it's been a few days since they were mowed. The grass on the tee boxes was thick.
I love Bermuda grass, but it needs to be mowed.
The course is a bit weird regarding the layout. The 4th tee box is about 400 yards from the 3rd green and the 6th tee box is close to the same from the 5th tee box. This happens from 7 to 8 and 11 to 12. Another great adventure is from 15 to 16. Once you get to a hole, they are well designed from a playability standpoint. Each hole is well designed, however fairways and especially the tee boxes needed to be mowed.
Lastly, the greens were very good, true, and the one thing that appeared they took good care of. I'll give the superintendent an A- for the condition of the greens. I'm giving the "Course Conditions" a rating of "Average" because the greens are terrific, but it would be "Fair" otherwise. I'll play it again, but first I will head out to the other course in (near - northeast of) this town of just over 30,000 folks.
Oops, I almost forgot... The employees are friendly and courteous.
Good for the money
Course isn’t in the best is shape but ok for the money
Not enough ground crew
I am not sure if this location has enough grounds crew and it showed. The T-boxes had longer than usual grass height. Some of the roughs were cut longer than what we experienced the last time we booked this course. However, I would have to say that the folks working on the course did a wonderful job with the resources available. We still enjoyed our round very much.
Not too hard, then very very hard.
Not too difficult course at first but it got tougher and tougher as it went along, either that or I'm just old. 16-18 were definitely the toughest 3 holes though out there though. If you don't hit it straight you're in big time trouble on those three holes.
Very well kept course
Over all very well kept course and nice layout.
Day we played most all of the tee boxes needed to be mowed but otherwise were in fairly good shape.
Fairways & Greens in excellent conditions.
Greens are challenging as the majority of them have multiple levels so knowing pin placement is very important to make two or less putts.
Cerbat
Plays very lush for a desert course. Fast greens, nice layout.
Highly recommended
Played 5 of 6 days and each day the course was in good shape. Excellent layout, greens rolled well and the pace was fair for a busy course. Highly recommended over other courses in the area.
