Winter golf
Fun course. Nice staff. Always enjoy playing here!
Horrible
Staff was very impersonal. Greens were bumpy and slow. Fairways so so. Houston golfers. Suck. No ettiquette and slow. Waste too much time during shot and in between. You a ll are pathetic.
Great Course
Good course and well kept. Course of play was good and staff were friendly. Greens can be a little fast. Always grest fun at Longwood and one of my favorite courses. Some dog leg holes that can be challenging for an average golfer like myself but provides opportunity to work on my course management and strategy.
Cart died
Loved the course, friendly staff. My cart died on the 5th hole and ended up losing my group. The cart paths need to be updated. 5 mph over an area where the concrete is cracked can be a pretty big bump.
Other than that, the course was great.
Good for a hot deal
Not worth more than 50$. Two carts died during our round and zero marshals to check pace of play. Friendly staff and players. Course in overall good shape.
Needs help
The tee boxes were bare, the greens were hairy and needed a cut. The fairways just so so, other courses in the area are in much better shape. If you’re going to pay $60 green fees, at least mow the greens.
Greens & Markings
The greens were too fuzzy and the markings of which way you needed to go to each hole weren’t clearly marked as you pass through the tunnels and some pathways.
Confusing hole markers but nice course
3 9s confusing, not enough signage. But interesting course at good price
Longwood Golf
Too many bookings and too much waiting to play.. course conditions not worth the amount charged to play.
Rude Staff
Starters and marshalls are rude. It's hard to get around the course due to the signs not pointing in the right directions. We got lost and turned around and asked the marshall for directions. He seemed irritated and was very short with us. Won't be back
Great Course, but one issue....
Overall Longwoods three courses are great and challenging.
We had a great time playing on a Sunday morning. Some expected slight delays on the course because of a busy time but the main issue that I think needs to be addressed is signage.
It is very confusing at times to navigate from a few holes because the signage is missing or not there...especially when you have to go through tunnels and/or along the road to upcoming holes.
Still a manageable course
This course has been around forever, and it's showing. Quite a few bunkers have been filled in, easy to get lost between holes, but still a fun course.
Great place to play
Great place to play. Staff was extremely friendly. Course was in great condition even with the morning rain.
Greens were a little slow but overall very enjoyable.
greens very slow. not sure they were cut recently.
