Lovely course, horrible management.

Course is in great shape, only the sand traps are in rough shape. Amazing layout and beautiful views. That’s where it stops. I’ve played here twice recently and each time my rounds have been 5+ hours. I have never in my life had rounds as long as I have on this course. There were 4 groups together on hole 6-7, 3 groups on every other hole till 18. I waited on every single tee shot starting at hole 4, till 18.

Course was great but they have a tournament Tuesday for the aves. Every pin was on a slope. We are scratch golfers and couldn’t keep a ball on the green. Long day

Great course

A wide array of holes, with a very picturesque 18th. Staff was very kind across the board, and love any course that includes range balls.

Terrible Pace of Play

Saw this course was rated one of the best public courses in Colorado so took my brother for a round when he was visiting. We were amazed by the view from the club house and couldn’t be more excited to play. Unfortunately, we had to start waiting at the tee box on the group 2 ahead of us on hole 2. We drove ahead to see if they were the hold up, but the entire course was jammed pack. We called it on hole 12 after 5 hours. We never saw a ranger at all. For the price you pay this should NOT happen. Never coming back.

Fun course

Course is visually intimidating but plays easier than it looks. Lots of elevation changes, especially on par 3s.

Overpriced for what you get

Beautiful, nice course. Friendly pro-shop and starter staff. Nice driving range. Beverage girl only came by once per 9 holes (on a Sunday at noon) & on one of these occasions she kept driving as we teed off & didn’t even stop to ask us if we wanted to buy food or drink. Overall the experience was not worth the high green fees.

Reputation solidified ….

440pm GN tee time or $57!! Paired with 3 others to make a 4some - rarely waited on front and had back 9 totally to ourselves. Finished all 18 in 3 1/2 hours of non rushed golf.

Course is in excellent shape. Fairways immaculate. Greens still have some sand left on them but any of these prima Donna complaints on the green condition is laughable. Couple of tee boxes chewed up but nothing major.

Could have used beverage cart on course and I didn’t see any water on course but may have missed it since my cooler was stocked.

The reviews speak for themselves and the rep is well earned

The Ridge is Awesome

We loved the Ridge. The greens were fast with some fun breaks. The fairways were in great shape. Pace of play was perfect. The staff was friendly and helpful. Hole 18 was beautiful. We will definitely play it again on our next trip to Denver.

Please get a Marshall!

Pace was terrible, a Marshall is needed. Traps were in horrible condition. For that kind of money and reputation

It should show in quality of upkeep..Thankfully through TeeOff I paid only $60,but with pace of play was not able to finish 18 holes. Feel like prices should drop when there is not enough time to finish due to sunset. Still selling at 5:50 with Sunset at 8:15 on a slightly discounted rate. Staff was top notch, course was beautiful as always, except for thin, unkempt traps.

Punched greens in July - watch out

I guess they punch once a year and it’s during prime season. Wish I would have known that before hand. Others then that great course always.

Disappointed

Sad should just close down for maintenance. Putting on 50% sand 50% green. Bunkers closed, and can only drive on the cart path. Best to just walk!

Always Good

The Ridge is one of the courses I need to play at least once a year. I don't live close, but I'm willing to make the drive. This is a fun course with a great variety of holes that will challenge every type of player while offering some great scenery.

The course has a mountain feel as it has many elevation changes and works its way through some heavily forested areas. I love the dramatic blind tee shot on the 9th hole where a good drive will end up all the way down by the green. The 18th also offers a semi blind tee shot, but plays severely uphill to the clubhouse. It's a fun finisher.

The great combination of holes forces the player to make a lot of different decisions off of the tee, driver won't always be the best option. When it's time to swing the big stick the fairways are plenty wide with fair landing areas. It really is one of the funnest layouts around.

Conditions were great when we played. Greens were smooth, not too fast, but they rolled true. As usual a day at The Ridge did not disappoint.

Great Course, but Needs Work

Green Speeds were FAIR

Bunkers were worse than any cheap course in the state, with standing water and awful sand. The grass wasn't cut around the bunkers. I can't begin to think how this is acceptable. Played this course for 5+ years. Past 2-3 years bunkers are hot garbage. 2 years ago it was the fairways. The year before that was the greens. How can you be a TROON course and be so inconsistent?
