The Ridge Golf Course at Castle Pines North is an 18-hole, public course is located in Castle Rock, south of Denver. The course offers 7.103 yards of golf and plays to a par of 71. The fairways are generous and the rolling greens are expansive. The golf course is also well-bunkered with water hazards coming into play on some holes. Beautiful views of Pike's Peak and Devil's Head can be observed by golfers at certain holes. There are also lovely Gambel Oaks and Ponderosa Pines scattered throughout the landscape. Perfect Condition

Course was in absolutely perfect shape. For $69 in the afternoon, outstanding deal. For $149 in the morning, there are just too many other courses in the area that are really good to pay that high a price.

5 Star Feeling without the price

The course was in fantastic condition. We were greeted by a friendly bag-drop staff who got our cart ready, stocked our cooler with water, and tossed us a bunch of tees. The pace of play was acceptable, and the other players we were paired with were enjoyable. Overall a fantastic experience, would definitely play here again. If you are in the Denver area and are looking for a nicer course, this is for you.

This course has magnificent mountain views and gorgeous fairways, bunkers and greens!

Overall, this is one of my favorite courses in the Denver metro area. It is kept beautifully, and golfers are treated very well. My only complaint is that it is very expensive, unless one is lucky enough to occasionally find a halfway reasonable price.

Felt like we were playing at an exclusive country club

Well maintained, pristine golf course. Back 9 holes were very picturesque, particularly from the back tees where my husband played.

Forward tees where a little short for women at 5,000 yet next back were long at 6000. Could probably play a combination of the 2 next round but would not know how to post the score.

One of the best in Colorado

The Ridge is one of the nicest courses I have ever played. The fairways and greens are both in great shape. The course itself is very challenging. There are very few flat lies, even in fairways, so bring your A game. Many holes have extreme elevation changes that make it hard to determine the right club. Some of the greens are completely surrounded by immense bunkers which make risk/reward shots even riskier. The best feature of its course are the way all of the views have been framed. Yes, it is intimidating to tee off through a canyon of dozens of lodge pole pines, but while you are looking at your shot, note the incredible smell of pine forests and savor the views of Devils Head, Pikes Peak, and the Poudre Valley. What a treat!

Great time but slow

Only issue was play was way too slow. Foursome in front of us was at least a full hole behind and no ranger sighted after the 3rd hole.

Private Club Look & Feel

The condition of the course (tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens) was impeccable. The course had the feel of a high-end private club with water bottles provided in cart coolers, high end practice facility and polite outside staff. Combine all of this with the beautiful natural setting and this is a must play within the Denver area.

Beautiful course, great shape

The practice area was good. First rate treatment all the way around. Course length, well placed sand, and elevation changes make you think about tee and approach shots. Greens were fast and true.

Course was in good condition, well maintained

My wife and I were disappointed with cart paths only, the reason given was too much rain the night before, however our Tee time was noon and the fairways were for the most part dried out. Also if it was so wet out why the no smoking on the course sign

Nothing bad to say about this course

This course was in fantastic condition. It was the first outing there for 2 of the guys in our foursome. They were impressed with the course, facilities & staff. You are always treated like a VIP at this course. I have never seen the course in better condition. The regular green fees are higher than I normally like to pay so I always look for the Hot Deal on this course. For a $70.00 green fee w/cart & range balls that is a flat out deal. I would recommend this course to anyone. The course offers a variety of hole styles some narrow tree lined with fair landing areas, some up/down hill, great views/vistas and the greens are incredible. This is one of the best public play courses in the state. The staff was fantastic! They truely worked to have your round be one of your best days at any golf course. As for our group it was our nicest day at a course so far this summer. I have already booked another deal there for this Sunday.

Wow! This course is SPECTACULAR!

This is one of my new favorite courses. The staff was super friendly (handing out ice waters on the course), the course was in magnificent shape (spongiest T-Boxes in Denver) and the best Par 3's around. I hate courses where all of the Par 3's are 200 yards. Really? Not this course. Really fun, reasonable Par 3's that you can actually par and birdie! I LOVE THIS COURSE! They need to do more promotions and coupons.

Horrible Pace of Play

When you pay these rates, you don't expect it to take 5 1/2 hours to play a round. There is no embellishing, it took 5 1/2 hours....unacceptable!

Book with Golfnow!

Visited golf now, and found the Hot Deal price of $50 - the group I was with all paid over $100! The course plays very well, and makes you think on almost every shot. Accuracy is a must off the tee - although the front 9 is more forgiving than the back 9 in terms of room off the fairway and bail out areas. The greens were in great shape and VERY fast - I estimate the stimp being at least 9. If it is your first time, I would suggest bringing a camera for all the nice vistas.
