Worth the time to stop and play.

This is a well maintained low key golf course that is laid out on the meadows and between the trees of the hills surrounding Williams. Good grass practice area. Course seems like it should be moderately challenging, but I think it is more than that because of some narrow fairways, big greens that are moderately speedy. Value for money is excellent. Foursome of seniors in front of me walked the course, but that seems to be only good for a hike and not for golf enjoyment. Despite that, I finished in 4 hours. The golf carts are gas powered bare minimum, but adequate to get you around.

Overall, I would highly recommend this golf course for the value and challenge, but I would be cautious about the wind or recent rain weather forecast. The bar/eating area looks fun with a couple good tv monitors.

I liked Elephant Rocks. It was rustic and laid out a little differently than most of the courses I’ve played, but this wasn’t a bad thing. The conditions were very good and it’s definitely challenging. I’ll for sure comeback and play here again.

1st off, I love this course. 4 trips from East Mesa tells you something. It was in great shape.

Only issue, a minor one. Lots of singles and doubles. I was paired with an amazing group, so it's a mixed blessing because we got to spend more time together.

Anyway, on pace for a 4hr round. Since we were a 4some, we were asked to let singles and doubles play through. Being polite (and enjoying the company) turned my round into closer to 4.5 hrs ish.

Not an issue, just an observation about starter control
