About
Fallon Golf Course is situated along the Carson River, its landscape sprinkled with beautiful cottonwood and willow trees. The course doubles as home to an abundance of wildlife including white egrets, cottontail rabbits, and quails. The nine-hole layout requires accuracy in order to maneuver past the strategically placed bunkers and out of bounds. The river also weaves through the golf course, coming into play on a few holes including the par-3 seventh, the signature hole. It begins with a long and intimidating tee shot over water in order to reach the protected green. Fallon Golf Course is good practice for beginners and provides enough of a test to appeal to players of all skill levels. In addition to the course, there is also a practice facility available with a driving range and putting green.

Course needs work
The course in general needs work. Greens, lack of water, too much water, weeds etc. can't beat the $5.00 fee to play but I as well as the rest of fallon, would love to see our course improve
Great Nine Hole Course
Greens and fairways were in very good shape. Good course with a variety of shots available from the par fives to the par threes.
Small town course
Had a great day. It had been raining right up to the tee time. Then it stopped and the weather was perfect. Friendly staff and good food. Overall fun day.
9 hole track to get dust off of clubs
Its a golf course out in the middle of small town.. greens and fairways in good condition. Not much to it.... for the value on golf now. Its great.
Average or less
Have played there many times, but I made reservations thru GN and arrived to find out that there was a men's scramble scheduled to start 40 minutes after my tee time. Was able to complete the first 4 holes before, but after the scramble started it was waiting on every hole. At one time there was 4 groups on the same
Hole. The course was over watered. Fairways had stagnant water on them . GPS system on golf cart didn't work. Staff wasn't aware that my booking included a bucket of range balls.
Nice little course
So, it is just a nine hole course, but has a little bit of everything. Some links style fairways, some water holes and some easy, wide fairways. The greens were in great shape, not too fast, but not slow either. All in all, I would recommend and especially using the website to schedule the tee time. It was very convenient and easy.
this place keeps getting worse
haven't been here for about 3 years hoped the management had changed for the better no such luck just a new level of lousy don't know how they do it but they do got watered on the first hole almost watered on the second wont be back for another 3 years at least is there any one out there who wants to buy and properly manage a golf course? this one heeds help badly
