This course is out in the middle of the desert fairways can be rough greens are decent. I like the layout for the course, pace is normally very good. Staff is very friendly. Staff is also accommodating. If you’re looking for course that has perfectly manicured fairways and greens this is not your course. I like to play this course because it’s a great course to work on my irons and putting. I have and will continue to recommend this course to my friends
Best this course has looked and played in a very long time
First Time
It was a good experience, it's a rather small course. It is an executive, but I was very happy with that. The staff is the best that I have ever encountered. I wish I had 10 of them .
Course improving by the week
So much fun. Course s been improved weekly . So nice not to be waiting or pushed.
Greens are coming back
I don’t think they change the holes very often. Many temporary greens remain.

Course is in pretty rough shape. Temporary greens still. There have been temporary greens for years now. Expected better conditions since the county took over. If things were in better shape, you’d have more golfers out there. Been in Pahrump in the spring and fall for quite a few years now and haven’t seen any improvement.
Sunday play
The course is on temporary greens which makes scoring difficult. Many of the fairways are dried out with dead areas around the perimeter. It has the potential to be a great par 3 course with proper management.
Greens... more like Browns
This course would be fun. It's quick play (18 hold in 2.5 hours), fairly challenging ( a couple of lakes and dog legs that give it some flavor), and it quickly signs and neighborhood, hey what else can you ask for a $20 green fee?
Well this time, the greens were so poorly maintained that it was pure sand and dead grass. The fairways are roughs and the roughs are impossible.
On the plus side, we did find two turtles, perhaps abandoned let's, in the front 9 lake.
Player
Greens are infected again with a fugus. Dead greens are no fun. It's unfortunate the California based management company gets paid whether they provide quality training and proper herbicides to protect against such events year after year.
