Mountain Falls Golf Course

Beautiful course, well maintained and lots of water and wildlife. It seemed a bit long even from the womens tees, too many sand traps and the greens are tough. Overall I would play here again, just wish it was a bit easier for the average golfer.

course was in good condition, fairways beautiful and greens receptive. we got behind the mens club weekly gaggle and it was slow, but I don't want to take away from a great course in good condition

Spectacular views and phenomenal conditions and a great value very friendly staff and practice range is worth getting there early

Very nice course, opening nine is very welcoming and allows you to get your footing and ready for the back, which is much more challenging.

Get ready for some amazing views as you get to the greens of hole four.

This golf course is very solid. The Greens are totally receptive at the moment and Rolling right around 9.2-10-2 stomp from what i can tell.

it’s a very fun layout and while there is a lot of construction it’s not intrusive to the round …. as a member of a really good private track, who knows good things… i’m confident you’ll be happy you played it. the greens are currently better than the mildly mushy /slow paspaulum at Reflection Bay… but they’re not as firm or well conditioned as Paiute …but these greens are Very good at the moment! ENJOy!

It would have been nice if there were other courses nearby to combine with, but going all the way there just for that one course felt too far, and honestly, it wasn’t attractive enough to justify the distance. Maybe once the surrounding housing construction is finished, things might change, but for now, that was the impression. Also, I wished the green speed had been a bit faster. Still, it was a decent course for a relaxed round of golf.

Friendly staff, Cary barn staff was waiting with golf cart as we drove up. He was friendly, provided directions. Pro shop staff also helpful. Course was in excellent shape even though it has been above 100 for past week.

It starts with a fun and friendly staff and Mountain Falls has just that. Everyone made you feel like family from the very beginning to the end of your round. They were all very personable and engaging. Thank you for your hospitality!

The course is in fantastic shape! Tee boxes are what you expect, nicely manicured and fairly flat. Fairways are plush and well groomed. Nice cushion of grass when striking the ball. The rough was only about an inch deep but thick enough to make you want to stay out of it. The bunkers were the worst part of the course with very firm “sand” that made it difficult to get under the ball. The greens were nicely cut, well maintained, and on the soft side making them very receptive. The ball rolled very true although a little slower than we expected. The layout is nice and comfortable with the front 9 a little more open than the back 9 where more trees and doglegs are in play.

Although it’s about an hour drive from Las Vegas, this course is worth the drive which is an easy drive through the mountains. We will definitely be going back the next time we visit!

Based on the reviews, I expected much better from this course. Unfortunately, the conditions were more in line with a basic city-run public course. Fairways were patchy, greens inconsistent, and overall maintenance left a lot to be desired. For the price and the drive from Las Vegas, it just isn’t worth it — especially when there are several other courses in the area that are in far better shape for a similar cost.

The staff were friendly and the pace of play was excellent, which were the bright spots of the day. However, the overall experience was soured by poor service coordination. We called three separate times from the 8th hole to pre-order food before making the turn, hoping to grab something quickly at the clubhouse. Each call went to a full voicemail, and as a result, we had no choice but to skip eating — there just wasn’t time to wait. We ended up playing the back nine hungry.
