About
Although Huntmore Golf Club is within 10 minutes drive of four other upscale championship courses, it manages to stand out with a scenic and formidable challenge. The golf course covers a diverse landscape, wandering through natural wetlands, hardwood forests, and across grassy open meadows. Water is a prominent feature throughout with at least a patch of marshland on almost every hole. Ribbons of fescue and native grasses border the generous fairways. There are also waste areas and large bunkers lurking alongside the lightning-fast greens. It is important to warm up before tackling the golf course since it opens with two difficult holes. The first hole is a challenging dogleg right that is impossible to cut. After that challenge, there is a par 4 with trees and bunkers that requires a carry past a narrow strip of marshland on the approach.

Awesome little gem
Glen was very helpful and informative and help me navigate this challenging but fun and well kept golf course.
September Golf at Huntmore
It's a ways from my house so I don't play there often but at least once a season. The course has always been in excellent shape. There are multiple tee choices so players of differing skills can still play together. It's quite challenging with a lot of carries over hazards and the greens require the proper positioning to one putt. The only issue I have the that although they have a full bar the food choices are limited.

Excellent greens
Great condition course, friendly staff, good for all skill levels. The tips are very challenging, the whites are good for mid to high handicaps. Very true greens always in excellent shape. A few gimmicky holes, like the par 5 first that’s nearly impossible to reach because of the dog leg and trees. Overall a great course, sometimes a little over priced but usually has good deals.
Bang for your buck!
First time out there and it was beautiful. Friendly staff, amazing layout and upkeep of the course. I would 100% recommend.
Best Course in Livingston County
The group in front of us were slow players. The greens were a bit pockmarked but were pretty fast. Some tee boxes needed a little attention but I’m nitpicking. This is still the best course in Livingston County. Staff is excellent, food was good.

Had a father teaching his daughter the game love love but not for 20 minutes a hole!! Other than that course was great and sand in all bunkers
