Fun gem
This course is really well designed and extremely interesting and fun to play. I don't think you will find a better course for the price in this area. Lots of goodness here.
Great Course Conditions especially for late October
My dad and I got paired with another father/son duo. The pace of play was excellent, there was a group consistently pushing us from behind but they never caught up with us - by the last three holes it was rather annoying and we would have allowed them to play through. The greens were superb, fast, and in great condition. The fairways similarly were gorgeous, some unreplaced divots, but nothing unexpected for this tine of year. The course otherwise was in excellent condition, the best in the area and better than any course in DC. The tee boxes were similarly in fantastic condition. No complaints about the course.
We were fortunate to play with a duo who played the course before, otherwise navigating the course would have been difficult - in terms of understanding where to hit/lay up etc. course is well laid out over a considerable area. Our cart struggled from the start but made it to the end.

Nice Course
Compass Pointe is a hidden gem. The layout of the course is outstanding. The course is really in good shape. The greens were very good. I can't blame them for ball marks that people don't fix. It had rained for two days so the greens weren't that fast. I was surprised that every part of the course was in good shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens. Especially with all the rain they had. Because of so much rain we played the ball out of the sand traps. Many were full of water. Overall, a great time had on a very nice course.

Great layout and well kept! Played the Northeast course twice and am set up to play the Southwest this week. Give it a chance and you'll love it too.

Great rate
My buddy and I played today for $9 each. Excellent price for this golf course even though it was cart path only we played in three and a half hours. Showed up about a half hour early starter let us go nice beautiful day little soggy but the course is in great shape greens were excellent.

The course is in really good shape. People ahead of us let us play through so the pace of play was fantastic. The design and layout of the course make for a really fun round!
