The layout is interesting and has real challenges. But the fairways are dry and most shots are from tight lies. The greens were not mowed and so slow and bouncy as to make putting a joke.

Wow !

Worse golf course I ever had experience.

The green is fuzzy and bumpy and fairway is like random patch of like sand box . Absolutely terrible .but has good potential. It could be very nice place.

Hopefully improve the course .

I would like to check back in again .

A sixsome was allowed to play, inexplicably and maddeningly. And they allowed no one to pass. So many dead, barren spots on fairways. Tee boxes were like parking lots. Standing water in odd places. The staff in the clubhouse and restaurant were top notch, but there was no one assisting in keeping play moving. This is an amazing property and piece of land. Unfortunately, there's just no money put into the place to make it worth the while.

We live here and played this course for years. It was a little strange to get teamed up with a threesome but thankfully some others didn't show and we got to play by ourselves. Glad to see a turn around with the new owners.

Course has a lot of potential but needs some TLC.

If you don't mind inconsistent greens and areas of mud patches in the fairways the course is nice layout and some scenic holes. So if you adjust your expectations you can enjoy,

So, I golfed this past weekend at this course. I play here often. This is no longer the golf course it was previously. Too many people playing and not enough carts to accommodate the people that were suppose to tee off 10 min ago. That has never happened before, but did this last weekend. The course it not maintained well at all. There’s debris on the course. Sand traps are just hard sand that is like hitting off rocks. Greens have mounds of dirt from insects on them, that or holes.The water dispensers most the time don’t have water in them. The ball cleaners don’t either. I’ve golfed here for years and am disappointed to see it take such a drop. I loved this course, but don’t mind driving a few more miles away to play on a better course.

I like the challenges this course presents though I always lose a few golf balls. There are some fairways with messed up spots and the cart paths through the woods need some work. But it’s fun, close to home, and a good price.

The course is in good shape and the greens are in excellent condition, especially after what last winter did to them.

I played on Tuesday and there was quite a few players, male and female alike. The rate of play was excellent.

The facilities are clean and well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful. I will be returning soon.

Per some of the last few reviews I was expecting poor course conditions overall. I was happily surprised to say it was mostly in good condition. There were some areas that were in poor shape, and a few greens had sandy areas that one had to move their ball out of.

But the layout is very hilly and scenic in spots, and the holes along the river are pretty nice overall.

You can get in trouble fairly easy if you are not very accurate.

Playing a two man scramble really helps on this course. Instead of a 95, we had a 75.
