Bang for buck
Overall course is nice especially for the price, a lot of dirt work is going on so the next year or two could be really nice.
Old reviews aren’t indicative of current condition
First time out, saw a tee time for 10 dollars and figured what could it hurt? Greens were very well maintained, can see much work going on through the course so it’s only going to get better. Reviews over the last year were it is sub par but it seems management had taken it into consideration and vastly improved their course. Would and will be back for another round.
Great!
Greens are fantastic couldn't ask for anything better!
Totally shocked
Four years ago, we played and the course was horrible - almost all of the greens were unplayable. I give the management kudos- they have really put some effort to improve the course. The greens were great and we played two days in a row. Only a very expensive Limestone Springs have better greens than Quail Creek now. We will play more often now.
Improved over the years
Played here several times years ago. They have made a lot of improvements. Greens seem larger. Fairways have fewer trees. The greens were well kept but very slow. I plan to return soon. It is no Robert Trent Jones course. But, it is very playable and affordable.
Absolute crap!
Guys and gals, let me introduce you to the worst golf course in America. This is literally a cow pasture that someone thought it would be a great idea to add some crap greens. Tee boxes had zero grass, greens were rotting away, zero water stations along the course, and zero directions between holes. If you do play, bring a case of beer and get blitzed! This place is only good for drinking while riding on a golf cart and OCCASIONALLY hitting a golf ball. No need to keep score … you won't be able to make a putt. The layout was fun, but it was in such bad condition there were times you were hitting off of rocks on the tee box.
It is what it is
Cheap course. Decent grass, rough tee boxes and not very good greens. Greens roll, but very slow. Some have multiple types of grasses growing. Par 3 17th is a poor job considering it seems they just mowed down the old 17th fairway to make a green. Very firm on that green. I got a deal, otherwise this course wouldn’t be worth it.
Quail Creek GC
We had much trouble locating holes. Not having played this course we found each hole challenge. Hole 1 to 2 to 3 were very difficult to find. And it was so humid that day.
I would like to play this course again.
Needs work
Course needs tons of TLC. Need a course Marshall to make people play in groups and push play. Please put some time and money into maintenance on the course, or drop rates. Ok for people on vacation but not for locals.
