Sunday Outing
The course was in decent shape. Greens were better than the fairways. Weather turned absolutely awful and it flooded, not a fault of theirs...
Hard to rate course. Never lost a ball in a fairway? You couldn’t see where the fairway started and the pasture stopped. The 17 by far worst hole on course. No green just a flag stick. Will not be back.
Course needs a lot of TLC
The course is in ragged shape from tee to green. Many of the back tees have been abandoned. The greens are average at best. Some of them are not very good at all. My main complaint is the golf course ruined the 17th hole. Should have moved the RVs not the golf course. There is still room for a par 4, but not a par 5. A good drive from the old tee will put you near the temporary green which is an absolute joke. Course is worth $25.00 at most.
Fun and beautiful
We always enjoy our time at QC playing golf. Beautiful scenery and fun course. Lots of risk reward holes that temp you to go for it but tight enough to keep you honest too. Get a lead and play it safe or let it rip and go for that reachable eagle/birdie if you can keep it out of the woods. So much fun.
So much fun!!!
We had a great time at Quail Creek. The course flows well and plays short enough to reach most par 5s in two so scoring well is in reach for the average golfer. There are several risk reward holes that you can go for it feeing lucky. Fun and rewarding round of golf was had by all. We’ve already planned another round there. Only issue we saw was the green on 17 was in trouble but I’m sure they are working on it. Thanks to the nice folks at QC. See you again soon.
Not as great a value as it used to be
Rates are the same now as the other area courses but not as nice. Don’t get me wrong, I like the place but they should at least submit the course rating to USGA so you could actually post your scores.
Friendly Course
Staff was super friendly, that alone makes us return to courses. Course has some great dog legs, really makes you think about set up for second shot.
Good layout, poorly maintained.
The yes recommendation is qualified as explained below.
Quail Creek could be an outstanding course if it were better maintained. Hate that the 17th hole was changed from a par 5 to a par 3.
Great scenery
The scenery was great so stayed at the inn on site . Nice accommodations With a great view .
