Give it time ... Still rough around the edges ... And greens
Was concerned over course conditions having read several poor reviews before my round. First hole looked very suspect with more brown than green in the fairway. 1st green was not at all green and I felt as if I was putting on a sand (more like mud) green. Nevertheless, the course and most of the greens improved for the most over the remaining holes. Overall, while the course is in need of some attention from the Grounds Superintendent, it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. Hopefully it continues to improve or they should be looking for a new Superintendent. I would play this course again as it was a very good layout with many good holes. If when I do I don't see any improvement, I won't return. Too many other great courses in the area.
There wasn't a single decent thing I could say about this course. The greens looked more like March than the end of april, the fairways sucked and the tee boxes look like crap. The municipal courses look better than a course that claims to be a former country club
Love driving from Denver to play as it is usually not too busy weekdays. Unfortunately, droubt and I believe disease has left course in horrible shape
Antler Creek
It had been 8 years since playing here. It was tough then and tough today. Not only is this course long but shots have to be precise. It was windy. Staff was great and so were the emineties. I would have given it a 5 star but the course conditions due to weather, burnt everything on the fairways and greens. It was sad to see. I hope the staff will be able to make a comeback. Lack of snow and water did this. Other than that, this is a great course.
Next Time in Summer
Links course which was just getting green from winter . Fairways true links, Lots of traps (Only hit two 9 and 18, made par and bogie. Raed course guide for proper way to play course
Worse playing conditions ever
Greens are a joke. At end of round I brought my concerns to the club house and was told all local courses are bad now. Basically he blew me off.
Will never bother with this course again.
Really bad shape
I've played at Antler for over 5 years. This is the worst I have ever seen it. No water with a dry winter means the course is burnt out, especially the greens with aeration a couple weeks ago. The sand and aeration punch holes were everywhere significantly negatively affect play. Won't play again until I know everything is grown in and greened up.
extremely poor conditions of course
This is the first time playing this course for me. This course is currently in the worst condition I have ever seen a course even if it was winter golfing conditions.
I really hope that they quickly do something to save it as the layout of this course is really nice but is not even close to what they advertise on their brochure. I added 6 photos, the first three are of the fairways and the last three are of the greens.
Currently I would not recommend this course until they improve it dramatically.

Don't waste your $$$
I wish I had thought to take pic's. Entire course is dead/dormant, including greens. It's a challenge to even find a small patch of grass to hit a fairway shot from. Putting is impossible. paid $50+ and it was the worst money I've ever spent. $8.40 breakfast burrito looked & tasted like it was a week old. BTW - practice area is just as bad as the course... that should have been a clue for our foursome to walk away. I'm not sure how they get play charging full price for an absolute goat-track.
Very challenging
Course is extremely long from back tees, but played shorter due to dormant conditions. Course is still very dry as they don't seem to be irrigating, yet. Look forward to playing in about a month when course conditions should be much better. Can't expect better this time of year at approx. 6500' elevation.
Course In Bad Shape Right Now
I am not a complainer, but the course is in horrible shape right now. It will probably be mid June before it is where it needs to be. I love this course when it is in good shape, but it takes the longest to get ready for the season out of any of the courses in Colorado Springs.
WORST CONDITION EVER!!
Don't waste your time heading to Antler Creek.
Tee boxes, fairways, greens are all DRY and DEAD.
There is NO GRASS.
Front 9 was closed so had to play the back twice and it was cart path only.
Overpriced
I know it’s early April but the course condition was incredibly poor. I don’t recall seeing any green at all. Not to mention it’s the longest course in Colorado and there was nothing about cart path only until we were ready to go. Not a bad course in the summer but should not be more than $20 in this condition.
Poor course condition
I know it’s early in year but didn’t look they’ve even turned on a sprinkler, the fairways were bone dry so actually a disadvantage to be in them. We’ll try a round later in year but not impressed now.also cart path only vs. 90 degree which was another issue
Great winter golf value
Great layout. Conditions for late winter were hard and dry. No sand / seeds in cart to fill divots. They should water / soften the greens on warm winter days. All that being said, very good value for the price paid.
Great course, just needs time to recover.
Lack of water / rain and in the few months has made this great course not the best choice at this time. All the greens have sand on them and it car path only. I’ll be back when it recover though.
The elevation and time of year excuse are lame. Played other courses locally and none as poor as this. Is this review written by the course management?
