Pine Creek Golf Club
About
Pine Creek Golf Course is part of the La Plata Communities in Colorado Springs. The course winds through the Pine Creek Valley, providing a lush and varied landscape. The course sprawls across high plains grasslands with abundant trees and lakes coming into play throughout. The seemingly gentle terrain has tricky undulations that total over 375 feet of elevation changes. The front is a canyon-style nine while the back is more of an American links design. There are creek beds coming into play on nearly every hole as well as strategically placed bunkers. In addition to the challenging round, the golf course offers stunning views of Pikes Peak, the Front Range, and the entire Colorado Springs skyline. At Pine Creek there is also a unique elevated, target-oriented grass driving range, a practice green, and a short game area.

Beautiful course
Garbage
For two-three times more money than other courses in springs .what do you get for your money…. ? Rude staff and $10 hot dogs. Marshalls rude, club house staff is rude, restaurant staff is rude all for a course that’s barely average. I’d rather golf valley hi for $40 as at least the course is in good shape. 120 for pine creek is criminal. Course might be worth a go for 50-60 bucks. That is how Pine Creek treats the community… not an accident or one off… every time we go…same story
Good layout, great fairways and greens and wonderful backdrop.
We had a great time
Great course
I played a course near the Garden of the gods and found this course to have a more challenging layout .
Excellent outing
Pine Creek was a superb round despite being cart path only due to heavy rains the previous evening. There were some wet spots and traps were still draining. Rough was a touch high but I’m sure mowing has been challenging. Overall, the pace of play, course layout and conditions were great.
Wasn’t great game
People working on court . Grass condition wasn’t great
Not a good value; POOR Maintenance
So, first, I would like to say this course has SOOOOOO much potential. Its a great layout. I paid one of the highest green fees in Denver and the Springs thinking this must be a great track. The staff was all friendly and nice. The driving range is in disrepair and all hacked up first thing in the am. It appeared the fairways and rough have not been mowed for a while...the rough was US open 6 inches and no roll out on the fairway. Further there are areas of the course....bunkers, fronts of greens and some fairways(ESP the RIGHT of 18 at 170 out) which are overwatered. The greens are in good condition despite the overall poor maintenance of this course. Bunkers not...these all should be considered GUR or Waist areas; they were not raked at all on Sunday am or Sat Night probably in a while. Many of the bunkers had standing water, balls in them just unplayable. If it was 50 buck...sure ...I can put up with it but a course with such potential and interesting layout needs some serious grounds keeping effort...it was just plan awful. Given I drove an hour, such a disappointment.
Lovely Course
My wife and I had an great round of golf at Pine Creek. The proshop staff was very helpful and courteous and the starter was also very helpful and courteous. We were paired with Gary, who was a volunteer at the course and a wealth of knowledge also, a great guy to be paired with....we had a lot of laughs during our round, which made the day memorable.
The only drawback to the day was the threesome in front of us, which turned into a twosome after 9 holes. I believe the other player left the game because in the twosome the guy was trying to teach his girlfriend how to play golf. Needless to say, it caused some delays and was pretty inconsiderate.
We loved Pine Creek and will definitely be back.
Great course/uninterrupted play
Had a great time with a foursome that never had anyone trying to hurry us. Course was in incredible shape, bort fairways and greens. If they lowered their regular price, they would be backed up all day.
It’s a decent course and it’s in fair shape, but it’s way overpriced $70 maybe $75 would be reasonable but they’re charging over $100 $120 almost your only reason I go there is I can always get a tee time last minute because you’re not very busy because of their overpriced golf
Poorly Managed Course
This course is all over the place. Some days it’s nice most days it’s over priced for the condition.
Bumkers are terrible. Overpriced.
Nice layout. Good fairways and greens. The bunkers are probably the worst I have ever seen. Most are dirt/mud. The only way to play is to take a rake and try to scrape enough sand together and place the ball. Some are just mud. For $90 I expect better.
Pleasantly surprised
Good layout, very good greens. Well maintained.
Played here some years ago and it is much better and mature now. Biggest drawback is the bunkers are horrible and wildly inconsistent. Pace of play was not good. Teed off at 11 on a hot day, the starter told us to "stay Hydrated" yet water stations were empty on the course. ????
Overall, very good course at a reasonable price. With a few tweaks this is a 5 star course!
Great course!
