Hole #17 Photo submitted by vegasvall on 08/25/2013
Cool course, but very poorly maintained
The fairways are littered with dirt patches, and the bunkers are unplayable.
Course condition
Fairways looked like bunkers they were horrible including the greens. The bunkers are full of grass and weeds. This course is not worth $60 a round $20 at most.
Antler creek
Course staff were very friendly as well as the pace of play was excellent very enjoyable round, the course it self does need some work lots of dead spots bunkers need re finished and raked, the greens on the back nine were in better condition but still lots of dead spots it’s very hard for them to roll true to the line, if the course could get into better shape it’d be worth the cost of their normal rate of 72$ with a cart but I’d say it’s worth around the hot deal that golf now offers up of 48-56$.
Pace of play
This place was terrible! Not sure they can call it a golf course? It took over 4 hours to play 15 holes and just left. Let too many players go at one time!
Cabrera
The management team is working diligently to make the golf course up to par however if you can book on Golfnow for $45 it’s not a bad deal!!!
Embarrasing
The owners and staff should be embarrassed and ashamed of what's happened to this course. This is bad. Like really bad. No grass anywhere on the course other than the weeds in the bunkers. This is pathetic and I feel totally ripped off for having to play this.
Don’t waste your money
This course is in absolute dog$#!+ condition. I’ve played some courses, especially in early season, that haven’t been great but this was especially horrendous. Echoing the most recent reviews, the course layout and views are fantastic and have great potential. The ownership group should be ashamed of its state.
If you like playing where your fairways have more sand than the bunkers and bunkers have more grass than the greens, this may be the location for you. Otherwise, don’t waste your money.
Late Fall Conditions
Course played well but I was told all bunkers were to played as ground under repair since they were going to replace them with grass. Made play a little easier but still fun.
Awesome Course
Awesome course with great staff! Beautiful views as well.
Needs a LOT of attention
The course needs a lot of work. We will not be back.
For $70 a round, the course can’t look like my back yard
The course is unkept. Sand traps are just grass traps. If this course was $20 - fine. $70? Absolutely not.
Great value for the price
Antler has had some issues with the grass a bunkers aren’t really bunkers. Greens are getting better a with more care they will be in time an improvement.
Needs maintenance
The course overall is just OK. We played for a discounted rate after noon so the price stung a bit less. Many T-boxes and greens still looked rough. Not a single bunker has been maintained and were growing weeds. They need to put some time and money into the course or they’ll find themselves out of business. Also, we finished at around 6 pm and were planning on having a beer or two. Nope- they close the restaurant at 3. Very disappointed to say the least.
Could be a nice course
Antler Creek has the ability to be a great course BUT it has a long way to go. Bunkers were all under repair. No signage on holes to let you know how the hole plays. No yardage markers anywhere. The worst is there are hundreds of geese that have made the fairways their home, so their droppings are all over. I am sure it does keep the grass fertilized. If you are not familiar with the course, it makes for a very difficult round.
Goat Track
This is the worst course I’ve ever played. The greens are bumpy due to having major poa annua infection. The bunkers have “no sand” in them. It is hard pan with weeds growing in the bunkers, all of them. The fairways have numerous large spots with no grass. This course is a “goat track”.
