Course has no sand in traps with weeds growing in some. I don't play out of them. The greens continue to improve. The fairways are somewhat better. More needs to be done.

Better than everyone says

First time playing this course… I live in AZ….. this course is way better than everyone is talking about… I would pay here tomorrow. Didn’t have a bad lie, fairways are very fair… bunkers are not playable… took them out. Greens are really good, rolled true and very smooth. I’m not sure where y’all are playing if it’s Cherry Hills or Castle Pines but this course is definitely worth the money. We paid $46 and well worth it… Quit griping about the conditions and go play it. It’s better than most.

The worst course in Colorado

Hands down the worst course in Colorado. DO NOT PLAY. The fairways have not been watered in years. The greens were as bumpy as a mountain road. The staff could not be more rude. I feel bad for the people who live on this course and have to look out at the terrible brown fairways. The price is out of control for what you actually get. The driving range is like hitting out of a parking lot, while blasting music like it’s a LIV tournament. Save yourself from a terrible time and drive anywhere else than here.

Good layout

Course has improved green condition but the fairways and tee boxes have bare areas. The bunkers have no sand so I don't play out of them. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Really poor condition

This course has gone downhill in a big way. I played this years ago not long after it opened and really enjoyed the course. It’s long, and the design is good. However it seems they’ve put no effort into keeping it in good condition. The grass is all burned up, as if it hasn’t been watered in years. The bunkers are full of weeds, and don’t play like bunkers. The tee boxers are mostly just dirt and sand. And the greens have grass, but are not well maintained and are on their way out as well.

Bad review

Course is drier than a nun. Greens were on rough condition. I know it doesn't rain here but to charge 76 for 18 holes and the course hasn't seen water in 7 years. Place would be worse than the worst golf course in all of Wisconsin

Zombie Apocalypse

In 30 years of playing golf I’ve never seen a course in more perpetually horrible shape. Barely any grass anywhere on the course. It’s 90% dirt. Tall weeds on the tee boxes, fairways, and rough. Bunkers look like they haven’t been raked or filled in years. They just don’t water the place at all.

If you ever wonder what golf during a zombie apocalypse would look like, this is it. It’s like everyone died and just let nature take over.

It’s absolutely criminal what they’ve done to this course.

Not worth it

The course is in terrible condition and unless you have a GPS you will not know where the hole is or the fairway layout. For the money you will pay your better off going to another course.

Still not in good shape

All though better then it was a few weeks ago this course is still in rough shape. The price they charge you is for if the course was in perfect condition. It's not. I've seen feilds better then this place. Most of the tee boxes have no grass and the fairways is like hitting ouf of a garden. So unless you want to waste money don't bother the price isn't worth it unless you get a Huge discount.

I should get my money back.

The course is unplayable. It should be close until they fix the course. GolfNow should take this course out of the options. I used GolfNow regularly and I’m starting to ask my self if you guys only care about the money no the golfers experience.

Potential…

The course layout could be great, but the condition was so bad, I’ll never know. I know summer is just getting started, but other courses in the area are in much better condition. Coming from playing golf all over the country, as well as the Springs area, this course just needs a new superintendent. I would have greatly enjoyed the layout had there been grass on the fairways… which playing from the concrete ground really prepared me for when the ball inevitably bounced in the bunker. I’m certain nobody has placed sand in the bunkers in a couple years. Dinged a wedge off a rock in the fairway. Staff was friendly though. Not sure it makes up for the price tag. Greens looked carpet if the carpet got dropped in a wood chipper. My putts bounced up, down, left, and right. Still played fairly well though… mostly cause every drive went 300 yards cause the fairways were so hard the ball just kept bouncing. Honestly, jokes aside, I’m disappointed a course charging 75 a round would allow a course with what could be a truly fun and challenging layout to be in such disarray.

Mixed

This course could be fantastic with some maintenance. Fantastic layout and beautiful Mountain View’s but the course is in horrible condition. Most tee boxes have no grass, hitting off dirt, bunkers have no maintenance and fairways spotty grass, crabgrass and dandelions everywhere. A few nice greens on the back 9 but most Greens are very mismanaged and in bad shape

Needs work

Flag position from tee difficult if not impossible to see. No course layout on score cards. Bathrooms need better care. No water at one of the restrooms on the course. Course needs some water and tlc.

Could be due to early season.

avoid this one

We played this course last year and it was in horrible condition on both fairways and greens...we decided we would' NOT play it again. We decided to give the course another chance this year and to our shock it was in worse condition this year...we will not be back.
