Mystic Dunes Golf Club

Challenging holes make it essential to pick tee boxes carefully. Lots of sand and very sloped greens. Course is in good condition and much improved from last time I played (few years ago). Greens are ok speed wise but they break quite a bit. Overall a very good experience. Already booked my time for next week.

Course was well maintained, great layout, challenging greens, lots of fun. Really enjoyed Mystic Dunes. Definitely would re play it!

A variety of holes with varying greens and chip shots required especially. Par 3 are particularly challenging.

This was our first time playing this course in several years. We understood that they had gone under a renovation, but we’re not expecting the quality of our experience. They really outdone themselves. We’ll definitely be back.

Had a great round with only a small exception of some novice golfers that slowed me down and then finally letting through, and the rest of the round was great! Course is challenging but good conditions were good considering maintenance and hot Florida weather but has so much potential. The cart people were running but because of a busy day we never seen them. We did take the opportunity to use the ordering feature and grab snacks and drinks at the turn. These courses could most likely earn more money by having a couple of carts running? The staff was fantastic and friendly and one of few courses in the area at least for this round that did not charge me for my wife to ride along which is so much appreciated! Thank you for a great round we will be back!

The conditions here have improved drastically since the last time I played here in 2021. It was a disaster back then, but the course has been brought into much, much better shape since then. Clean cuts on bunkers, most tee boxes in good shape, fairways are great, greens are lush and full growth. The only downside - and it was a big one - is that the greens are SUPER slow. They roll pretty true, but only around 7 on the stimp. I understand that with the undulations of these greens, fast greens will tend to slow down play, which I suspect is the reason behind the slowness. However, if they ever got the nerve to mow them down to 9-10 speeds, this might be the best deal in Orlando for advanced players.

Was a little concerned going in after reading previous reviews. I was pleasantly surprised!! Course was in great shape and really cool and fun layout! Will definitely go back!

Played here 9 years ago, now holiday resort from the Hilton group. Clubhouse nice, good restaurant and shop. Friendly staff. Range balls not free . Friendly chattie starter. Layout nice , strategic bunkers and nice doglegs. Maintenance needs to be upgraded especially tee boxes and parts of the fairways. Greens very slow but I was told new grass. Ondulated and pin positions difficult so hardly any straight puts . As a two ball we needed over 4 hours because of very slow play in front of us. But after all a nice round.

I played here for the first time and I had a blast! Course was in good condition, staff were friendly. The guy helping with bags/starting players was the coolest dude ever. As for the course, the front was tight and the back was open. It really felt like two different courses, and I liked that duality all in one round. You should check this place out!

Overall the course was in great condition. For the price I paid it was a steal. Will definitely be back soon a hope.

Have not played in a year because the last time I played (grand re-opening?) it was a tremendous disappointment. However, this time I was pleasantly surprised! I have played on off over the last 5-10 years and this is by far the best condition it has been in, Still a tricky and unique layout, but now the course matches the layout. Still could improve but definitely on the right path. Recommend!
