Celebration Golf Club

We loved the layout and the challenges. One issue that I had that I know affected my game, because I was constantly thinking about it, was the information that that starter told us. He told us that the course was playing at 2 hours and 10 minutes, because "we are fully booked today" when the scorecard tells us that each 9 should take 2 hours and 15 minutes. And if we fall behind that he would be coming out to check on us and "nobody wants that". Then he proceeds to put a twosome behind us! It was at the point where if my father in law or I hit into the rough we never even looked for our ball for more than a few seconds. We finished the round in 4 hours and 10 minutes, but that was for you, not for us. If we are pressured to play this fast on a Thursday morning, I can't imagine what the weekend is like. My father in law was in town for business for a couple days and I took off work to take him golfing just to run a around a golf course with anxiety about if I'm going too slow.

Appeared to be overbooked, on a Saturday. 5:25 hour round. Course didnt seem to care much.

Course is in mostly great shape. Greens a little rough and cart geofencing very restrictive

Course was in good shape. Will improve as over seeding continues to grow. Not a fan of floating range balls bur overall warm up and practice areas were good.

Friendly staff, nice range, challenging but fair layout. Great conditions.

The course overall was in ok shape. Some fairways were wet/muddy and it has not rained for the 5 days we have been here. The greens have small weeds about and some sandy patches. Overall, a 7 out of 10, and unfortunately it was cart path only due to recent overseeding.

The issue we had was the tee starter and course marshal. Tee starter talked trash about groups in front of us, playing second round and hitting extra balls of tee box. We paid for a "ride-along" since there were 5 of us, the 5th person enjoys walking but does not golf. Then on 3rd hole a single player comes up from behind, we intended to let him play through. As we do, he says to us that the Marshall's think we lied and are playing 5 players and they are watching us (calling us liars). Marshall showed up as we were waiting to let him through The Marshal wanted my two players playing white tees to go ahead of the single player, hit, while single finished on hole behind and stand to the side. I told him I was uncomfortable putting our players in front of player I do not know, he pushed us to do it. Sure enough, ball wizzed by, right side of fairway....DANGEROUS. Lastly, both Starter and Marshal show up on 8 tee box with another cart. Stated that our 5th person can NOT walk, that it was a "liability", even thoughthe starter watched us off of 1st tee. I never knew that walking was a liability! She actually assisted with bringing cart(s) forward since it was cart path only.

Lastly, after letting single player by, we were held up the rest of the round.... it was a 5 Hour Round! The long play and rude staff, we won't play again.

The course was cart path only because of "maintenance", but what that really meant was the greenskeeper overwatered the fairways. The course was a mess, the fairways and tees were in terrible condition, there was crabgrass growing on the greens. We were speechless, how could they let this happen? Even better, we had a foursome in front of us that didn't have a care in the world. Thankfully, the ranger told them to pick up the pace and they finally did, but it was still almost a 5 1/2 hour round. Never again. Don't waste your money, there are so many great courses in the Orlando area. I guess you get what you paid for - lesson learned.

Overwatered everywhere. The worst greens I’ve seen in a while, and I like to play cheap munis. Tee boxes in bad shape. Fairways would be great if they weren’t mud pits. But at least they overbook so you can really take in the poor maintenance for 5 1/2 hours. Do not waste your money.

Enjoyed the course. Fun to play and all staff encounters were helpful and friendly. Food was good as well. We take an annual golf trip to FL and will put this course on our list for a return visit!

nice layout in great condition Play it whenever I can

Playing behind 1st group out and we waited on every shot for 18 holes. After round I talked to 1 of foursome and he said he was watching the time and knew they weren't holding us up because they were on pace for a four hour round.
