Mystic Dunes Golf Club

Although it was a challenging course, greens were amazing. Staff was outstanding, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful.

Course has improved from 3 years ago when it was in terrible condition. You can see the improvements especially the greens. Fairways and surrounds still need a lot of work. Bit expensive for conditions.

The course layout was very nice but the conditions were terrible. Lots of dead vegetation along the fairways many dead spots of grass in fairways. The greens keepers need to do a lot of work

I was excited to “Stay and Play” here but was very disappointed with the condition of the course along with the price tag for it. Staff was friendly, the layout is somewhat challenging but for March, the course was very dry and a lot of bare spots throughout the 18. They prep you for it by telling you that Hilton just bought it and is trying to make it better, but my tee time was paid for and cart was already loaded when I found that out. There are too many course around to mislead the golfer with expectations. Definitely not a $100+ course.

All was good. Staff was super. The clubs were great, but, I thought the club rental was about 25 o/o to high

Course could have 1 or 2 more water stations.

With all that said I/we would play this course again

Paid 130 bucks for a course that you would have to think twice about paying 60 bucks. Very little grass in the fairways. You could hit a putter from 150 yards. Greens were good…a little goofy with the severe undulations. Your money could be much better spent someplace else.

Nice course. Generous fairways. Very challenging greens. Overall good experience. Definitely would play again

Was paired up with three fun players from Ottawa Canada. We meshed well together and had a good time. Main drawback was pace of play. We waited on every shot for the first 10 holes. On #11 we received a note on the GPS screen to step it up and that the course was backing up behind us. Mind you we did not see a ranger for the entire time until we received the notice. The group in front had a player drop out and the pace of play picked up. 2 hour 40 minute front nine and 2 hour back nine. Course condition ok but very little grass in the rough around the greens. If you miss the green by 5 feet, the ball can end up 20 to 30 yards from the green

Lots of bare spots and lots of untrimmed areas, weeds. The pin placements were nearly impossible on many greens, but in all honesty, some of the greens are so bizarre with dramatic changes in elevation it must be difficult for the staff to pick a pin placement . You’d need to play this course regularly to know what you are shooting to score well. Frustrating day ….
