Stonebridge Golf Club

About
Stonebridge Golf Club is an Arthur Hills design that is one of southeast Michigan's best kept secrets. The championship layout incorporates the plentiful water and woods of the natural terrain. The white sand bunkers that are strategically placed throughout add a beautiful contrast to the lush green of the golf course. The undulating terrain is one of the layout's most prominent features. Elaborate hills and greenside swales protect many of the putting complexes. The putting surfaces on the front nine are relatively calm when compared to the back nine where most of the greens are double-tiered, ridged, or layered. The par-4 15th is one of Stonebridge Golf Club's most scenic and challenging holes. With water in front, back, and right of the green, this is one of the toughest approaches on the back nine.

Great course
Course was in great condition. A true shot makers course. The greens are smaller but true. Will definitely be out there many more times this summer.
Great Value...well worth the trip!
This is one the best values on GolfNow. The course is in excellent condition! The greens run true, the fairways are in great shape and the rough is fair. If you like Arthur Hills courses, you must play Stonebridge. It's nestled within a neighborhood, but the houses are far enough from the course that you don't have to worry about breaking a window. Too many courses in Michigan have sand traps that are filled with rocks, but not here....the course has the best sand I've played so far this year. Challenging, but fair. I highly recommend./
Great value, lots of creative challenges
Many diverse challenges on the course -- forced carries from tee and on approach shots. But it also is wide open enough on many holes to be forgiving. Kudos to the grounds crew, this course was in excellent condition despite the recent heavy rains. A great value and fun round. Friendly staff, saw the drink cart at least six times during the round.
Great place to play
Course was in great shape ! Had some wet fairways from all the rain. But would play this course every week if I had the time!
Value Friendly - All level appropriate
Course is well kept and well worth the value and time. If you're looking for a good round with a medium level challenge, scenic holes, this is the place. Only complaints are the greens are on the smaller side and the hardest holes are the par 3s, so if you can handle the 4s and easy scoring par 5s you should do well here.
Great Track!!! other than SLOOOOOW play!!!
First time playing this course on a late sat afternoon tee time.Nice club house and attractive setting in the Ann Arbor area.Playing this course is like throwing darts...small greens so this is a shot makers course from ANY tee...and the tips are some 6900 yards so this course can accommodate all skill levels.Seems like there was an outing of some sort earlier in the day that MAY have slowed things down for most of the day...we started at 4pm and did not finish till 9...so 5 hours was a bit long(course recommends 4.5 hrs) but the weather was ideal so it was not quite as annoying. The sand traps on this course were exceptional...nice fine white sand with hardly a pebble/stone...compared with others in around here these were tour quality!! Only in 2 of them but they were fun to blast out of...Hope to do this one again with a bit faster play in the 4- 4.5 hour range...an Arthur Hills course that does not disappoint!!
Memorial Golf Weekend
Course is well worth the GolfNow special rate. Pro Shop and 19th Hole employees were welcoming and informative. Greens were a bit on the slow side but in nice shape. Play moved along well for a Memorial Day weekend.
Although the course is tucked back in a neighborhood community, holes are relatively open with good size fairways.
Rough rough
Very nice course however, the grass is not kept up as well as it should be. So when they do cut it looks like a hay harvesting.
The greens were a little slow but very true.
Great course for your money.
This course has nothing flashy, but seems to be well maintained and the staff was great. Long par 3's from the tips and tough rolling greens makes this course a value for the $$.
Slowest pace of play in Washtenaw County
Played here 5 times and haven't played a round in under 5 1/2 hours. Very slow play. Course is laid out to have a few large back ups on the front. When you get to hole 14 on the back the pace of play seems to stop. Three groups on every hole. It takes almost 2 hours to just play the last 5 holes. Course is in good condition and if the pace was faster I would love this course.
This course is a pleasure to play
Course was in great condition. Pin placement was well placed.
Great course for early season loosener
Enjoyable course for the bogey golfer. Challenging but not too difficult with fairly wide fairways and forgiving rough. Greens in good condition and it is never too busy here so pace of play is good. Golfers are spoiled for choice in A2 but this course is definitely worth a visit.
Need better upkeep
The course was ok if you like a course in the middle of a million houses. Reminded me of Pheasant Run in Canton, MI. Biggest problem I had was the leaves. They shouldn't charge greens fees if they don't pick up or blow the leaves way. Millions of leaves in the fall. I lost a ton of balls because they were somewhere amist the tons of leaves around the greens or in the fairways. You cant find you call in the fall in this course because they don't clean up the leaves all over.
Fun course to play
Fun course to play. Always in good to great condition. can get crowded.
Great day of golf
Great course, great weather, and was happy to actually play a golf course by myself without having to be paired up with someone.
A good over all course.
The course have some challenging holes and some grip it and rip it holes. Some water, some bunkers, some places where I shouldn't have been.
A course that is worth playing.
PLAY IT!
Loved the course, a ton of blind shots and doglegs, I had a great experience on the course. The clubhouse is very "classy" , however, paying $24 for a 6 pack of beer at the clubhouse (no beer carts on the course the day I played). And the putting green sharing the 18th green is not ideal.
Nice course
Challenging course nice scenery but there was a lot of standing water due to overwatering .There was no on course ranger so pace of play was slow due to one group. All in all I would play this course again.
Hardly a straight hole
I was pleasantly surprised by this track. With a Sunday afternoon rate of $29, I wasn't sure what it'd be like. Excellent facility, staff, and course overall. Holes were set up for a challenge from the first to the last. I'll definitely be back.
