Stonebridge Golf Club
About
Stonebridge Golf Club is an Arthur Hills design that is one of southeast Michigan's best kept secrets. The championship layout incorporates the plentiful water and woods of the natural terrain. The white sand bunkers that are strategically placed throughout add a beautiful contrast to the lush green of the golf course. The undulating terrain is one of the layout's most prominent features. Elaborate hills and greenside swales protect many of the putting complexes. The putting surfaces on the front nine are relatively calm when compared to the back nine where most of the greens are double-tiered, ridged, or layered. The par-4 15th is one of Stonebridge Golf Club's most scenic and challenging holes. With water in front, back, and right of the green, this is one of the toughest approaches on the back nine.

Memorial Golf Weekend
Course is well worth the GolfNow special rate. Pro Shop and 19th Hole employees were welcoming and informative. Greens were a bit on the slow side but in nice shape. Play moved along well for a Memorial Day weekend.
Although the course is tucked back in a neighborhood community, holes are relatively open with good size fairways.
Rough rough
Very nice course however, the grass is not kept up as well as it should be. So when they do cut it looks like a hay harvesting.
The greens were a little slow but very true.
Great course for your money.
This course has nothing flashy, but seems to be well maintained and the staff was great. Long par 3's from the tips and tough rolling greens makes this course a value for the $$.
Slowest pace of play in Washtenaw County
Played here 5 times and haven't played a round in under 5 1/2 hours. Very slow play. Course is laid out to have a few large back ups on the front. When you get to hole 14 on the back the pace of play seems to stop. Three groups on every hole. It takes almost 2 hours to just play the last 5 holes. Course is in good condition and if the pace was faster I would love this course.
This course is a pleasure to play
Course was in great condition. Pin placement was well placed.
Great course for early season loosener
Enjoyable course for the bogey golfer. Challenging but not too difficult with fairly wide fairways and forgiving rough. Greens in good condition and it is never too busy here so pace of play is good. Golfers are spoiled for choice in A2 but this course is definitely worth a visit.
Need better upkeep
The course was ok if you like a course in the middle of a million houses. Reminded me of Pheasant Run in Canton, MI. Biggest problem I had was the leaves. They shouldn't charge greens fees if they don't pick up or blow the leaves way. Millions of leaves in the fall. I lost a ton of balls because they were somewhere amist the tons of leaves around the greens or in the fairways. You cant find you call in the fall in this course because they don't clean up the leaves all over.
Fun course to play
Fun course to play. Always in good to great condition. can get crowded.
Great day of golf
Great course, great weather, and was happy to actually play a golf course by myself without having to be paired up with someone.
A good over all course.
The course have some challenging holes and some grip it and rip it holes. Some water, some bunkers, some places where I shouldn't have been.
A course that is worth playing.
PLAY IT!
Loved the course, a ton of blind shots and doglegs, I had a great experience on the course. The clubhouse is very "classy" , however, paying $24 for a 6 pack of beer at the clubhouse (no beer carts on the course the day I played). And the putting green sharing the 18th green is not ideal.
Nice course
Challenging course nice scenery but there was a lot of standing water due to overwatering .There was no on course ranger so pace of play was slow due to one group. All in all I would play this course again.
Hardly a straight hole
I was pleasantly surprised by this track. With a Sunday afternoon rate of $29, I wasn't sure what it'd be like. Excellent facility, staff, and course overall. Holes were set up for a challenge from the first to the last. I'll definitely be back.
Great lay out
Nice course plays long from the whites and greens are a little Tricky but over all a very nice course to play.
Small, challenging greens!
The course was in excellent condition! Tee boxes and fairways were top notch with greens not overly fast but the contours subtle and challenging.
Held Up By Maintenance Crew
The maintenance crew did not let me play through making the round longer than expected. I took the first tee time of the day to play unobstructed. Unfortunately, I had to wait to hit into the green on 17 or 18 holes waiting on maintenance to complete their tasks and clear the green. Created a frustrating day on the golf course instead of an enjoyable one. I've played here 7 times this year and won't be back for awhile after the slow conditions generate not by golfers, but the staff itself.
Worth the drive
I drove up from Toledo to play Stone Bridge. About a 50 minute drive up 23. It was worth the drive for the price. The conditions were ideal and the course is fairly lush. Some tough holes with water but nothing crazy. First time playing the course with my own ball. I usually am at Stonebridge once a year for a golf scramble and it was a fun play since I don't usually get to keep my own score. Some undulating greens but they were fair. Not too fast. There are homes on the course but in general are not coming into play. A couple of the OB areas due to homes were a little close. The fairways are wide enough to keep you out of trouble. They do have a good banquet facility and I've had lunch there yearly for the outing attend. They do a good job and look like they're trying her. The courses maintained pretty well
very nice fairways.
I would highly recommend this course. Groomed fairways and challenging greens. This is as good as it gets. Without Golf now I probably would not be able to play on such a course.
Great Value
Budget conscious golfer here... I always look for this course to show up on golfnow.com because it's a great value. As a 300 plus yd driver of the ball it takes the driver out of my hand because of narrow fairways at about that range. Makes me use most of my bag. Great job to the greens staff.
