AGGRAVATED GOLFER
The issue isn’t with the staff or course. The fact that a SINGLE cannot get around a golf course 4 hours or less is my issue. Golf course etiquette of the group in front me was horrible. Let the fast golfer through. I waited longer on the tee boxes and on my second shots than I did ACTUALLY playing golf. I don’t care if the Mayor gets mad if you enforce faster play rules, find a way to cater to the single golfers on the weekends too. SPEED UP PLAY. Want to be slow? Don’t be the early tee times then.
This course is a lot of fun!
The greens could have been swept a bit better, but other than that very fun course to play. I will come again!
Manager a Zar and rude.
The course was in nice shape and some holes had been reworked sense I last played it. Both enhanced the experience. Just had to get past how rude the person taking money was. No signage saying pay outside at a window and when I walked in he acted as if I had stole something. Just remember the track offered a nice time.
Worth the trip
Really good layout, walk friendly. Course is in excellent condition, nice fairways and slick greens!
Great value
The course conditions were excellent especially with only being open one week due to Covid. The greens were rolling well and fairways when I was lucky enough to play from them were in great shape! Will definitely return to play again!
Hidden Gem
This course is truly a gem, very well kept, it is challenging without being overwhelming.
We play as often as possible from the first days of spring until the last day of play on the fall. The recent remodeled par 4 #10 is enjoyable and have a great layout with the risk of being in the water or the reward of putting for eagle.
My favorite hole is # 9, it is a magnificent hole, it is breathtaking every time of the day.
I know it is the end of the season but there was no drink cart available and the inside bar was out of a lot of ingredients to make drinks.
The pace of play was slow and I never saw a ranger out on the course
Truly enjoyable!
Played for the first time and really enjoyed the course. Nice layout and even the and traps were well maintained. Will play this course a lot more next spring and summer.
Great play! This course is always in pristine condition, and it’s a true value to play. Very fortunate to have such a place so close to play a round. Keep up the great work all the way around..
Value value value
This is the second time I have played this corse and I played it early morning for full price and have played it on a hot deal. Both time I was satisfied with course management, Course-layout, and course design. Love the simple but overlooked nature of the par 3s and the long and wrong feel you can rip off the tee on the 4 500+ par 5s. Even having a swing that off the tee mostly goes alittle right to left I love all the small dog legs right and a few of the sharpe dog legs to the left. Well kept and a really fun course overall a new favorite. Not to mention they have the nicest and newest carts in metro Detroit.
