Nicely kept up
Front 9 was very well placed.
Back 9 not as challenging but still good play.
Surprised greens weren't faster especially since dry conditions.
Tee off areas were in need of repairs. Lots of divots.
Overall Great course, definitely be back to spend my money.
Thanks
Good challenge
Nice course and in good shape except for some wet spots due to recent rains. Could do without the workers in the fairways on the first three holes. Pace of play slowed on the back nine.
Nice course, slow play
The course and staff are very good. It’s a short track, so I was expecting the round to be completed in 4 hrs. Our tee time was at 8:32. We teed off at 8:53. Our round concluded at 2:00 pm. Nothing was done about the slow play. In fact, one of the staff told us to expect a 5 hr round on days like today. My group was waiting on the tee and our approach shots on all but three holes.
I’d go back to play the course again but only on a day where the staff is enforcing pace of play. This isn’t the PGA, having groups that are the cause of slow play move up a couple holes each time they’re behind would help resolve this issue or at least make them let the groups behind them play through.
Again, nice track. Very good staff and a good value play for the money. Speed up the pace of play and it’s a great round.
Course was in very good condition. Played on July 4 and used Golfnow.com for my cost. Staff was very friendly. Will certainly continue to play this course.
Love this course!
Will absolutely play this course again before years end. 2nd time here this year and course is in great shape. Great layout with some challenging holes. Back nine has 3 par 5s which is pretty unique. Back to back as well.
OUTSTANDING IN ALL RESPECTS
A definite challenge for all level of player. In great condition. Beautiful Clubhouse and patio. Very attentive and friendly staff in the clubhouse, on the course, the maintenance people, the Marshalls, everyone. Fantastic greens that run true. Interesting layout with a little bit of everything from ponds to tight Fairways to strategically placed fescue grass. Sonic
Its taylor
What can you really expect, its definitely not Lakes of Taylor
PLAY IT
Currently live in Florida but was quickly reminded that there is Beauty in Michigan Golf and Taylor Meadows is an excellent example. If this course was located in Fl (and had better practice facilities) you would easily pay $50-75. Features clean and fast greens, well kept grass and foliage, and elevation changes that add difficulty to what (from the sky eye) appeared to be a straight forward layout. Friendly staff and a pro shop that features extremely fair priced items (i.e. balls pro v1s sleves $13.95, nike dura feel gloves $9).
Pros:
Prices
Conditions
Friendly
Cons:
No driving range
Extremely small practice green
Nice course, Extremely slow pace of play
We really enjoyed playing at this course. It was in great condition considering all the rain we have had in this area. The pace of play was terrible, we teed of at 11:15 am and didn't finish until 5:25 PM. Other than that I would play this course again.
Course over booked
Course over booked 4 groups on each hole almost 7 hr round , I understand it’s Fathersday weekend but the course seems to over book tee times
Golf with friends
We don't golf often & and make a day of it. We all found this course very accommodating & had hoped to have lunch before golfing. Much to our dismay, the restaurant was closed. Sad but we made due with a hotdog.
Course is clean & well maintained even with all the rain we have had. an extreme amount of rain. It is a short course yet it is a challenging course & we plan on playing it again in the future.
