Franklin Bridge Golf Club
About
Franklin Bridge Golf Club (formerly known as The Crossing GC) runs alongside the Harpeth River, which borders 15 of the course's 18 holes. Opened in 1970, the course has a classic layout that will appeal to a wide range of skill levels. Some of the holes definitely present a formidable test, the 16th and 18th for example, which have been hailed by local media as two of the best and most challenging holes in the state, but it is the par-4 ninth with its island green that is the course's signature hole. Although the layout offers a fair challenge, there is also some room for error that makes it more approachable for beginners. In addition to the course, Franklin Bridge Golf Club boasts an 8-acre driving range as well as chipping and putting greens equipped with a practice sand bunker.

Great course and value
the course was in great shape, only two holes had problem areas that they were still working to repair following this past winter. The layout is great, there are some challenging the holes but it is not overly difficult. I would definitely recommend this course for anyone who is in the Middle Tennessee area.
Challenging Club Selection Course
This is an awesome course for pulling every club out of your bag. There are quite a few dog legs on this course, so there are lots of irons hit off the tees. There are some really tough holes that can challenge any golfer. The greens are running quite fast, which is preferable to me.
will not play here again
The course was poorly marked, the Marshall kept trying to speed us up even though we were waiting on the foursome in front of us at every hole.
Nice Public Course
I played here for the first time and was added to a threesome. They were great and we will probably play Forrest Crossings again next Sunday.
Not good
Course not in good condition. Greens not in good consition.
fun week
course was a great treat
staff was awesome - round included a free lunch
Forrest Crossing - Great Course!
This wasn't the first time that I've played at Forrest Crossing. Great course and the staff is always stellar. I'd recommend this course to anyone that enjoys a round of Golf.
Poor course conditions
The course appears to be challenged. There are many locations on the course that appear to have serious drainage issues. At the same time, the greens looked to have been aerated recently and have not recovered
We did have a good time and I would come back because of the availability and value. Just not expecting pristine conditions.
Good course
Conditions were good and course was in good shape.
good value for the $
fairways have some "rough" spots
greens had been punched probably 3 weeks or so ago
overall positive experience, great value for the money;
staff was super
and I will be back
Greens still in rough shape
Greens are aerated as usual. Half of each green is unplayable and the other half is extremely bumpy from being aerated only weeks ago. Why can't you do it all at once instead of ruining the greens for months? Their mower is also out of whack because the fairways have looked like a poorly cut lawn for months now.
Great Course
The golf course was excellent, and the staff was wonderful. Challenging for a weekend golfer, but forgiving enough to have a decent score! I loved it!! The staff was so very friendly and nice, I will gladly play here again!!
improving Daily
Todd and his staff at Forrest Crossing do an excellent job for golfer to have a good time playing. The winter caused alot of dead spots in Fairways, but FC is doing a great job trying to fix this issue. Tee boxes and Greens are in good shape. Enjoyed the golf there yesterday
Fun course to play.
Overall, Forrest Crossings golf course is a good way to spend a Saturday golfing. The group in front of us was pretty slow, but that will happen every now and then. Majority of the greens were being fixed, sandy and slow. However, I would still reccomend this course.
Forrest Crossing July 2014
It's obvious the management and staff of Forrest Crossing are working very hard to recover from the terrible conditions caused by this winter's weather. The greens have been aerated and sanded over one half of each green and I'm sure the other half will be done later-not good conditions for now, but an investment in the future that I salute. Great value for the money-driving range is in good condition and it and lunch are included in the price-best value in Nashville at present.
Well maintained course
A couple fariways had patches due to the winter freeze but overall the course was in very good shape. On the back nine greens were bumpy due to prev aeration. Pin placement was challenging due to most of them being placed on slopes on 16 of the 18 holes Hard to get an easy par or birdie. Looking forward to playing the course again.
The Rare Compassionate Cashier
After solidifying my tee time, I read the course policy, which claimed they reserved the right to pair up singles or pairs in order to improve the pace of play. When I arrived at the course, I was indeed paired up with the threesome teeing off before me. When I told the guy I'd rather just go to another golf course, he let me play alone. And that's rare.
Still recovering
Like most courses in Mid Tn, Forrest Crossing was hurt by the harsh winter. There are a couple of fairways that are in bad shape (being resodded and/or avoided altogether by shortening to a par3). The tee boxes are in bad shape also. The greens are in very good condition. Compared to other courses aound here F.C. is in decent shape.
Worth the Money if you get a good deal
Course was a little rough in areas, winter has hurt lots of courses this year though. #9 fairway is gone and they are playing it as par 3 instead. #18 is a dumb design IMO. 3 greens on the back 9 were a little rough but rest were in good conditions. Fairways a little rough cause of the winter. I will be back for a deal, full price it is not worth it there are other courses that are better for the price.
