Franklin Bridge Golf Club
About
Franklin Bridge Golf Club (formerly known as The Crossing GC) runs alongside the Harpeth River, which borders 15 of the course's 18 holes. Opened in 1970, the course has a classic layout that will appeal to a wide range of skill levels. Some of the holes definitely present a formidable test, the 16th and 18th for example, which have been hailed by local media as two of the best and most challenging holes in the state, but it is the par-4 ninth with its island green that is the course's signature hole. Although the layout offers a fair challenge, there is also some room for error that makes it more approachable for beginners. In addition to the course, Franklin Bridge Golf Club boasts an 8-acre driving range as well as chipping and putting greens equipped with a practice sand bunker.

Fun place to play.
I play Forrest Crossings every time I go To to Nashville. The staff is very friendly and the fun place to play. Good place to play for the money and a few really fun holes including number nine, a par four with an island green.
Nice Course, but slow play.
The course is good shape. Many different types of holes to challenge you. The pace of play is extremely slow. I've golf this course because the location is great for me. The slow play will keep me away for a while.
Good course for all to play it will test you and give you a few breaks
Really makes you chose your clubs wisely some of the greens need work over all you can make this course play to your style
Nice course
Good course to play. Reasonable price. Marshall stays on top of you to assure speed of play is good, that can be annoying. But it also helps game move along well.
Ok
The staff did not let us know the greens had just underwent aeration. Therefore, it was virtually useless to try and putt. I feel like there should have been a discount for that. Besides that, it was not a bad course. My friend lost his putter, and the staff luckily found it for him later in the round. Great staff, good times...
Slow but good
6 hr round of golf! :( the course was in great shape and the staff was friendly. $30 with a cart on the weekend and it came with a meal combo. Great value but super slow.
Good weekend course
I enjoyed playing Forrest Crossing this past weekend.
A great test of your skills.
The course is in excellent shape this early in the season. The greens are in good shape and the fairways are well grown in. The June deal with 18 holes and a quick lunch is a terrific value. A good place to play this year.
This course is excellent
I enjoyed playing this course is challenging and requires your attention to detail on every hole.
Can't say enought good stuff about this course.
Great track. Nice greens, fairways, and tee boxes. Courteous staff. Great value. Really good sandwiches. Already booked my next round and I played FC just yesterday. A+++
good course in great condition
Played here June 3, 2013. Staff was friendly, the course was in great shape, the greens rolled true. A nice challenging course. Well worth the $35, we also received free lunch (sandwich, chips and fountain drink.), with purchase of tee time.
Challenging and fun
The course is always in good shape, challenging, especially the back 9. It's my favorite local course
A good course for a practice round, with golf now discount
Course needs a quality grounds keeping staff to properly maintain the tee boxes and fairways both were very neglected. The starter was a wonderful gentleman and staff at check in we're polite but lacked knowledge of products in pro shop. The lady at sandwich counter must had a bad day and was extremely cranky. Not a quality course, but good for your first time out for the season or practice round before playing a good golf club. A very good deal with golf now discount rates, would never ever pay regular rate at this course.
good course,good Golfnow price
Regardless of the course,Golfnow usually has a time and a price to fit my schedule and budget.
Currently not up to standard
Let me start by saying I love Forrest Crossings and the conditions were far from normal yesterday. The greens were in really rough shape, and usually they are the trademark of this course. Looks like they were being treated, but they were in very poor shape. Im hoping they get whatever the issue is under control. This is way too nice a course for their greens to be in teh shape they were in yesterday. Still the staff was great and the starter is a very cool guy. Will certainly come back, but will give it a month or so to get the place back where it usually is 99% of the times Ive been there
Fun course to play
Nice course. And great staff. On line reservations went smooth, and we had a great time!
no surprises, good use lakes & of river through course, great greens
I play this course regularly. It makes good use of lakes and the Harpeth river running through the course. there are no gimmicky holes, no surprises about where to land drives. the champions run Bermuda greens are fast and in great shape here in May. Heavy rains can make a few holes really wet.
course personnel heipful
Some greens were in tough shape hopefully in another month that will change.Otherwise course was in good shape. It has some funky holes but if you place your ball properly it is playable.
Only 18 hole public course in Brentwood/Franklin
They're the only 18 hole public course in Brentwood and Franklin. They create so much traffic with their spacing of tee times and they never speed up play. Takes way too long to play a round. Also, the staff is dismissive and couldn't care less if you're happy with your service. Being that Legends went private, they know that they have the non-club members over a barrel.
Go somewhere else. May not be as nice but at least you can play and enjoy it.
