About
Lakeland Golf Club originally opened in 1964 and in 2002 it was expanded to an 18-hole championship course. Barry Serafin reworked the traditional design of the original layout into a challenging course that is still playable for a range of skill levels. The five diverse sets of tees make it even more accommodating. Seasoned players will find the championship tees to be a formidable test but the gold tees are tame enough for beginners. Its versatility makes the golf course an excellent venue for tournaments and outings. The course can be tight in some spots, requiring a fair amount of accuracy. Lakeland Golf Club's fairways are generous and seemingly tame but they are bordered by strategically positioned bunkers. There are also meandering streams and a few lakes that come into play on a few holes.

Great time!
I love the course! The upgrades and the new signature hole is awesome. Definitely a must golf outing!
Priced Right
We 2 seniors played today and pace of play was very good. We let a
"single" play through early in the round , which was good as layout was a bit
difficult to follow. Then on the turn, there was a group jumping in to tee off
the back nine ..... so we had to go around them.
Greens were just o.k. not great some very slow some fast-very inconsistent.
A nice course with a moderate degree of difficulty.
The lady who checked us in at the clubhouse was neither pleasant nor
personable.
All in all an ok experience because of the reasonable price.
Great price
The greens were slow and very soft. All of my shots into the green stayed exactly where they landed or backed up a few inches. I would definitely play this course again.
Nice layout but greens were long and extremely slow, fairways were rolled but not cut, very long. If both were cut recently would have been a great course.
Great condition!
First time playing this course. It was a Hot Deal and well worth yhe price. The fairways and greens were just that, GREEN! I will say the greens were terribly slow, but you get used to it. The carts are great and seem newer and the staff was very helpful! We will definately be back
Good Day on a Good Course
Course was in good condition. Played 18 holes in 2 1/2 hours. Only had to wait on 4 foursome the last 2 holes. Perfect day for golf on a really good course.

This course was laid out beautifully ,it as rather long so not good for beginners. Very nice clubhouse with outside seating and bar.
This is an Ok course , especially for the price. One thing missing that could make it much more unenjoyable, there are no yardage markers anywhere. Did not see any yardage help. No 200, 150, or, 100 to be found on any hole. Had to make an eyeball guess on every shot from the fairway. Can't cost much for a red, white and blue dot on the cart path to indicate distance. Really detracted from what could be a much better experience !
Great price
The course was in good shape with all rain this year..if you hit the green they would stay all the time
One green was in bad shape otherwise the course
was in excellent shape and provided a wonderful
experience and a terrifically memorial labor day.
Staff and accoutrements were friendly as well
as the fellow patrons. PTL for small town
values.
