Lake Powell National cuts through the desert and traverses a mesa. It delivers a stern challenge, especially from the back tees–at 7,030 yards. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 10/05/2025

A sample of the many outstanding views from the course Photo submitted by Corey4652891 on 04/17/2019
Need pictures on scorecard
There were holes that were confusing, having never played the course before. Pictures on the scorecard would help. Other than that the course was great
Great views and interesting holes
This is kind of a hidden gem. The layout is superior, with every hole brining an interesting challenge. Unfortunately, the course is not in the best of conditions, but...still worth playing for the scenery and variety of holes. I play every time I find myself in the lake powell area (which isn’t very often).
Fantastic views and interesting holes
This course is a hidden gem of a layout. It has many interesting holes, and some great views of the mountains, bridge and lake Powell. It can be windy and the course is not in the best of conditions, but the rate was good so we played. This is my third time playing the course, and I still love it. We stop here to play every time we are in the area (which isn’t often because Page is I. The middle of nowhere). Bump your ball if you need to, but enjoy the views and the different holes.
Buffalo Peak Golf Course
I always enjoy playing in Page Arizona. William Phillips has also designed Buffalo Peak Golf Course in Union Oregon. It is spectacular.
Unique scenery and holes
Great course to play with Tees for all golfers,
Certain holes is difficult to determine where to hit even on second shots.
If you are in the Page area a must play for golfers.
Had fun
Course was in great shape, beautiful views, friendly staff. First time at course made locating direction to hit ball difficult at times. Would definitely play course again if in area.
Graet agolf
Very nice Golfcourse ! Only fault no cool wather or towels or cooler with Ice on the course !
Page/Lake Powell course
First time playing this course. Great layout especially the back nine which has not only great holes but views to match. Course was in average condition. Tee boxes were poorly maintained, fairways a little burned out, bunkers rock hard gravel and greens were medium fast and a little bumpy. Day I played the temperature was 106 and course has little shade and no water anywhere on the course. They give you 2 bottles of water to start but no cooler to put them in. I recommend playing if in the area but be prepared if playing in the hot weather.
Great day of golf
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. Great views. Some interesting holes (in a good way). I suspect we will play again next time we are in that part of the country.
Great Layout and the holes are all different
The course is best played from the tees that suit your game. This is a great 2nd shot course. Lots of elevation changes and no shots that are unfair.
worth it
Condition was "okay" , but this was an early spring round for conditions. You get overwhelmed from the views. The staff was amazing. Driving by we decide to play, and we were treated fantastic by the pro shop for club rentals, yardage book, etc!!
Unbelievable scenery
While the greens were patchy (this is early season in northern AZ), the rest of the course was in good condition. A fun course surrounded by gorgeous scenery.
