There are a lot of different reasons why a course can receive great pace of play ratings: It could be spaced out tee time intervals or a remote or semi-private facility that receives less play. Or it could be efficient and effective marshalling. Or there are things the golf course can do to set themselves up for success, like lighter rough or manageable weekend pin positions.
