The 18-hole Falcon's Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee, FL is a public golf course that opened in 1993. Designed by Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead, Falcon's Fire Golf Club measures 7006 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 135 and a 73.2 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are tifdwarf bermuda and the fairways are bermuda grass.
Falcon's Fire, a Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead signature masterpiece, is typically wide open, however, shot accuracy is essential. Fairways and greens are well bunkered, and water hazards are a common occurrence.

Needs urgent maintenance
The course layout is wonderful.
But the greens need lots of love. On several greens there are patches of inserted turf with grass. Depends where you are at the green it makes putting not possible. Sprinkler heads are grown over, so one of our foursome stepped and fall into such a trap.
Staff is friendly and range is nice.
Awful for the money
Patchwork greens….. very slow play….. worth 30 bucks a round at most.

Greens unplayable
The greens were nearly unputtable. In fact, my playing partner had to chip over a section of dirt on the green. I wish I took photos. For $100+ stay away

FF Review
The course layout is really nice, always enjoy playing it. But the greens left much to be desired. They were patchy and had been filled with new turf in many areas. Price was a bit high due to that alone.

Greens, 1/8 portions under repair
Great layout, but greens several had disease and had been repaired with patches of sod. Also , players not repairing pitch marks. Felt compelled to find 2 other than my own to fix. Can tell course gets alot of play. Fairways were great, sand decent. Course besides a few greens is looking good. Would play again.

Pictures can be deceiving
This course was a major disappointment! Fairways were in reasonably good shape, the greens were in terrible condition. Several greens were patched together with pieces of sob, others were pitted and choppy. Certainly not expected for a course that was this expensive.

The greens were in rough shape and made it really difficult to put accurately. The fairways and staff were awesome.

Bad greens
The fairways and rough were well maintained but the greens were the worst I've played in a long time. I wouldn't advise playing there until the greens heal or get replaced. They blamed it on the hurricane but ,the other courses close by weren't anywhere as in poor shape as these.
Nice, but needs a little love.
Layout and fairways are great, but the greens need attention.
Just put a little more love into the green keeping.
Pace of play is slow, slow ,slow.
No Marshall’s going around, nobody repairs pitch marks and pace of play is slow, because nobody is watching it.

Horrible Greens
The condition of the greens were the worst I have ever played on. The course layout was nice and I'm sure this was a great course when the greens were in better shape. Save your money and your time until they fix the greens, which is probably going to take some time.

Carts and Greens
Been there three times and we take the real late tee times for the discount. The cart that I had yesterday had steering problems where it could not turn left
Last week the cart would stall and speed up and slow down, we got a deferent cart at the turn.
The greens are hit or miss as to there condition, looks like they had some serious problems and have been replacing sections of green So $100 plus for early tee time is terrible.

Never play this course again
Slow play, every hole backed up two to three foursomes, I hate the golf carts, governed to snail pace, takes forever to travel on course; plus, numerous roped off areas preventing access to fairway and greens. THIS IS DEFINATELY NOT A COURSE FOR SENIORS OR ANYONE WITH PHYSICAL LIMITATION. Forced to walk long distance around greens and fairways. After 4.5 hours and 4 holes still to play, we were advised to stop play at 6 PM. On the favorable side, I did find the greens and fairways in very good condition.

Priced like championship course maintained like discount municipal
The course layout is really good, lots of fun, fairways and tees were in reasonable shape but way to long. Fairways really needed cutting. Greens were horrible, even the staff admitted they were in bad shape. So slow it was so difficult to hid a putt hard enough. Lots of dead and patched places so should never merit a $125 green fee. Worth about $65
