A New Favorite
This is our second time to play this course. It's such a great balance of challenging layout and fun to play. The greens are in GREAT shape, and we played in just a little over 3 hours! My only critiques of the course today is that some of the fairways needed to be mowed and the range was off mats. The fairways weren't thick or overgrown, just needed to be mowed. Don't let this stop you from this Super Fun, Super Value course. I birdied #1, #16, & #18 what can you do?

Orgill Park 6/10/20
Pace of play was great! There was pretty much no delay in play. The layout is great. Hardly any straight shots, much dog legs left and right. The fairways were in great shape. We were told to go car path only on hole 5 due to some water on the course, but we saw very little. The greens were hard to predict...some were fast, most were slow but all were in great condition. Due to the COVID-19, special rules were in play, like no cash, no food on the 19th hole. Very windy day made it hard to judge distance, but that’s the players problem. There was a storm that rolled thru yesterday, but the ground crew were in force while we played....cleaning down branches and stuff like that. I used the Hot Deal to book this round, but would book another round even without it. Good job Orgill Park.

Cart paths
My only complaint beside these stupid so called pandemic rules we r subject to is that the course was dry and they were cart path only on the whole course. There were a couple of holes they could have made cart path only but to have the whole course cart path only was ridiculous!

The course was open again after the winter shutdown. Due to the Coronavirus and all of the rain we have had the groundskeepers were behind on their grass cutting. Once the ground has a chance to dry and they get caught up again I believe the course will be in great shape. I always enjoy playing this course and will be back again.

Course was closed
Drove nearly an hour to find out the course is closed till spring, but was allowed to book a tee time?? Only at arriving at course and bumping into another golfer that just booked golf now and just checked GN app to find out it was canceled. Should've had better way of knowing, " by not allowing you to book it in the first place" wasted 2hrs

The course was in good condition for the time of year when I played the course. I was very displeased with the location of the driving range. Some players were hitting their practice balls onto the gold course. This makes the fairway on the first hole a very dangerous place to be. i enjoyed playing the course and have plans to play it many times in 2020.

I like the course layout. It’s set up to play easily. My favorite course to play in Shelby County. I e been playing it for years and keep coming back.
Hidden Gem
Every time I play Orgill I’m so impressed with the condition of the course and how much fun it is to play their course! Some of my lowest scores ever have been at Orgill and that always makes for a fun day of golf! It’s a great course to have a breakthrough game (breaking 85, breaking 80) and gaining confidence. They got a new grounds keeper or manager a couple years ago and the course looks better and better every time I go!
Great course
I have been living in Memphis area 31 years and have been playing this as my home course, and love it, and enjoy playing it more than any Memphis course. The groundskeeper they have had the last few years has gotten the course in very good shape and the greens are excellent. My first name is Charles but I go by Larry
