Pine Creek Golf Course

About
Located east of Nashville in Mount Juliet, Pine Creek Golf Course claims to have the most well maintained greens in the area as well as some of the most affordable rates. The layout offers different challenges on the front and back nines for a diverse round. The first nine are links holes that tumble across rolling terrain while the back nine has a more traditional design with tighter fairways that require greater accuracy and strong iron play. The signature hole is the par-3 sixth, a hole generously framed with trees that crosses a large water hazards. It is a fair test for players of all skill levels but it was also designed with playability in mind. More seasoned golfers will find many risk-reward opportunities but beginners the forced carries won't punish beginners.

Not worth it
Played Pine Creek on 05/04/25. They just raised the rates to $82.00. That would be fair for two rounds with a cart. The staff is very nice, but I won't be back unless they grow some grass
Great course !!!
Super fun and enjoyable , casual yet intense round between me and my girlfriend. Great pace of play and super friendly staff
Course was in very bad shape - tee boxes and fairways were pretty much all dead grass and sand despite it being very wet and not hot in recent months. This course was more in line with Mccabe - $20-30/rd, not $72.
STAY AWAY
I played here as a kid and teenager many times, but this place has been an absolute joke for several years now. When you have other courses around Nashville that are the same or priced less and are in pristine condition, it’s a wonder anybody still comes here. Should we talk about the arrogant rednecks working the pro shop that hasn’t been updated since the 80s? No, they’re not worth the time. Stay away from this place.
Raise Your Rates For Worse Course Conditions
I’ve been playing this course for over 20 years and consider it my home course and one of my favorites. After playing here last week, I will have to reconsider my past opinions. To raise your rates for the conditions the course was in is absolutely ridiculous. I realize everything is going up but I am extremely disappointed and feel this increase was definitely not warranted. The value for the money is not there and this course does not warrant a weekend rate of $80+!
I will be looking elsewhere to play from here on out as I cannot justify paying these fees for such a poorly kept course.
Not worth the money
This course has been a part of my group’s rotation for about 6 years, but it has never been in worse shape. I used to love playing this course. Layout is solid and scenery is nice. The audacity of this course to charge $72 a round for the condition it’s in is unparalleled.
From tee to green this is one of the most poorly maintained courses I’ve played in years and it’s priced as one of the more expensive public courses in the Nashville area.
1. Tee boxes….. especially from the tips are mostly dirt and dead weeds. Hitting a long iron on par 4s or wedges into short par 3s means that you’re teeing the ball up in an old divot or hitting off dirt.
2. Fairways are mostly patchy Bermuda and dead grass clippings. Maybe try over-seeding with a cold weather grass for colder months. Lord knows you’re charging enough money.
3. Around the greens(if there’s even grass)is patchy dead Bermuda that’s been matted down. Good luck controlling the trajectory/spin of your chips.
4. Greens are wildly inconsistent speeds from green to green with most of the pin locations on slopes. Hole 12 is a par 3 that looks like it hasn’t been cut in a week and is probably rolling at an 8 or 9 on the stimp meter. Hole 13 is a par 5 that’s probably rolling 11-12. Don’t even bother hitting putts on the practice green before your round. It’s probably rolling at a 7.
The price of the course has increased significantly almost every season and the only changes to the course are the addition of bunkers on a 135 yard par 3 and less grass.
If you are a single digit handicap, take my advice, drive 15 minutes down the road and pay the extra $15 to play hermitage. Pine creek’s management need a reality check on what the expectations should be when paying $70+ on a round of golf in spring.
Great course!
Great course layout. Staff is very friendly. Greens are in great condition
Good course
Course has a good layout and the greens are good condition.
Home Course, unfortunately
Pros - only Wilson County public course, layout
Cons - the pro shop guys, there’s one who drags em down, have cancelled three tee times on me at the course, the holes cut on the only severe slopes on #12 #16 on 12/11 were shameful, cannot play as a single, paid for two golfers to play in one cart, if you get beyond all that it’s mildly enjoyable
Had a great time. Will go back.
Had a great time, course was manicured well pace of play was good… Overall I had a great experience.
TSU Homecoming Weekend
I have played this course several times on the years and this was my first this year and the course was in great shape. The best I ever seen it.
Pine Creek on a Sunny Day
Good course for a public venue. Tees are in pretty bad shape and overall maintenance could be much better. Great layout.
