Pine Creek Golf Course
About
Located east of Nashville in Mount Juliet, Pine Creek Golf Course claims to have the most well maintained greens in the area as well as some of the most affordable rates. The layout offers different challenges on the front and back nines for a diverse round. The first nine are links holes that tumble across rolling terrain while the back nine has a more traditional design with tighter fairways that require greater accuracy and strong iron play. The signature hole is the par-3 sixth, a hole generously framed with trees that crosses a large water hazards. It is a fair test for players of all skill levels but it was also designed with playability in mind. More seasoned golfers will find many risk-reward opportunities but beginners the forced carries won't punish beginners.

Great course and prime conditions
Pine Creek is always in good shape. Greens were pristine, fairways were nice and low, and the grass is grown in everywhere. They have a good range and putting area, good facility all around.
Good experience
Only issue was there were some fairways and green side areas that were dead, bare or heavily under repair
Too expensive - NOT bang for buck
Premium cost for a backyard course. Can play Gaylord Springs, Hermitage Presidents or Greystone for the same or just a few bucks more.
I will give them credit for spending money on new carts. Saw some sod on tee boxes but still too much for what it is…
11 handicap. Play one or two times a week regularly.
Conditions are much better
The fairways are much better than two weeks ago. Greens are in great shape.
Layout good, greens good, fairways bad
Mostly an open layout with a few opportunities to lose your ball. Most of the fairways are in very bad shape, and a few are so bad that I’m not sure if the grass will come back. The greens were surprisingly very nice. I probably won’t go back unless I hear that they’ve improved conditions.
What poor course conditions!
Played this course multiple times over the years and I have never seen it in such poor shape. Fairways were barren in some places and then full of water and mud ruts in other places. Looks like they just don't care anymore. I will say the greens were in very good shape. However, I will not play this course again until they start taking care of it again!
For the their prices go to Gaylord
It used to be a good golf course to practice on ($35) for 18 which for that price it was okay to see mediocre fairways. But now it being expensive and close to Gaylord prices for 18 holes and not having a decent fairway and patchy greens it is not worth it all
In such poor shape!!!!
Wow, I’ve played this course multiple times over the last several years. However, I have never seen it in such poor shape. Fairways were bare in multiple spots, other fairways had standing water and mud ruts. I don’t know how they can justify asking for $55 with the course in this bad of shape. I will say the greens were overall very good. I will not be playing here again u til the quality improves or the price comes WAY down. Sorry I didn’t take more photos.
Winter was hard on it
Will wait to come back when there is grass on the course.
Decent Course, Friendly Staff
The course was very average. Needed some TLC (i.e. grass) on the tee boxes. Greens had been punched recently and were also hairy. Overall, it was great weather and a day on the golf course, so enjoyable.
