Pine Creek Golf Course

About
Located east of Nashville in Mount Juliet, Pine Creek Golf Course claims to have the most well maintained greens in the area as well as some of the most affordable rates. The layout offers different challenges on the front and back nines for a diverse round. The first nine are links holes that tumble across rolling terrain while the back nine has a more traditional design with tighter fairways that require greater accuracy and strong iron play. The signature hole is the par-3 sixth, a hole generously framed with trees that crosses a large water hazards. It is a fair test for players of all skill levels but it was also designed with playability in mind. More seasoned golfers will find many risk-reward opportunities but beginners the forced carries won't punish beginners.

Rough Shape
Pine Creek used to a great course but the last 3 times I’ve played it’s been in terrible condition and is not worth the $60. The tee boxes are not level and consist of 90% sand. Most barely even have patches of grass. The greens are ok, but look trashy because the grass around the fringe is painted. It’s unfortunate this previously good course has gone down hill the last couple of years. Definitely won’t be back anytime soon.
Pine creek.
I love this course. Can’t beat it for the money. Pace of play is rough here tho. Usually no Marshall to help with this. If they can clean this up it will be my fav course in Nashville.
In good shape! Pace of play a bit slow but not awful. With rate from Hot Deal a great value!
Not worth the money
Pine Creek seems to think it is a premium public course, but it doesn't measure up. The condition of the tee boxes and greens is no better than a municipal course. Unless they are the only option available, I won't be paying $60 to play there again.
Course and staff
The course was in great shape and the staff was excellent
Overgrown and poorly kept
The greens were like a thick carpet and were covered in debris. We had to clear paths for our balls on almost all of them. Definitely not worth the expensive price.
Are you serious
I have played here several times prior to moving away and decided to play while in town. Now I've always had complaints but today was the day that really showed how much they don't care at this course. Charging full price for greens that were punched still healing and had hadn't been cut in over a week. Everyone complained throughout the day and the staff just laughed at us when we complained at the end of the round and said that's just business. This course is usually pretty nice for the area thankfully i never have to play here again.
Hairy greens
They hadn’t mowed the greens in a while, they were at fringe lengths, impossible to accurately putt on and they still charged full price.
Full price for uncut, aerated greens.
The course was in okay shape. Very disappointed that we had to pay full price for a course where the greens had not been cut in a week or two. Aeration holes were almost healed, but the greens were very hairy. My wife also ruined her 60 degree wedge, when she took a shot on #10 and there was a rusted piece of metal under her ball, that she could not see. The staff apologized for her club being ruined, but that was it.
Good Round (after days of rain)
Played the day after it rained quite a bit; therefore, the course was cart path only, which was understandable. Carts are older and worn a little, but they get the job done. Fairways and greens were in good shape for the most part. Some of the greens and tee boxes needed to be mowed/clipped, but probably weren't b/c of the wet conditions. Pace of play was great. Overall great round of golf, I shot a 78 with a triple bogey on #18, which is a good round for an 8-10 handicapper like me. Course is somewhat open but a decent challenge for most golfers.
Great time.
Being new to the area, this is a great course for the cost. I’m eager to see the view when the leaves start to change. Gotta try the hamburgers too!
Life happens
Had to leave for a personal family issue at the turn. Course wouldn’t give me rain check. I bought balls . Beers. Burgers and would have continued to patronage this course. Instead I won’t play it again nor recommend it. Short sighted thinking has lost them a lot of money.
