Very nice course.
This is my most played course. Centrally located for my friends to play. Good availability. Generally nice conditions.
With the new raise in prices should come some enhancements. Practice range distances to targets should be posted daily to reflect tee placement. A few challenging targets for short shots should be added. Also, a club cleaning bucket and brush should be available. It is time for water to be placed around the course.
Awesome Course
Can’t wait to come back to golf it sometime when the grass is green. Coming from Iowa, it was a treat to get some early season golf in.
This was a good course
Beautiful day to be on the course! Greens were rolling true and receptive. Fairways were cut nicely and the rough was kind. Tee boxes could have been in a better condition. Played well for all handicaps off appropriate tees. Easy to check in and a nice chipping and putting are that were really true to on course conditions.
No ranger
To be clear there is a ranger who drives around. He just does nothing to improve pace of play. We were behind two foursomes who kept deciding to play together. On the 10th box they spent 10 minutes throwing balls into the air and trying to hit them before they hit the ground.. It took us over 3 hours to play 10 holes so finally we just drove back to the clubhouse and left.
Very Disappointed, Grounds Crew Needs Training ASAP
Beautiful club house, great practice facilities, pace of play was quick but not speedy. Nice upgraded carts with GPS (they didn't have those the last time I was there). HOWEVER, this course has severely gone downhill since the last time I played it. Tee boxes are absolutely wrecked, fairways are nice, but nobody fills their divots. But the real issue are the greens. I could tell by putting on the practice green that it was going to be a long day. Every single green is absolutely destroyed, from the pitch marks to the incompetence and lack of attention of the greens crew when replacing the cups ( they would replace the cup marks in the opposite direction as the rest of the green and wouldn't tap them down, leaving huge humps in the green. Speed was slow, but that is to be expected with winter golf but they need to roll those greens bad. It is like playing plinko, you cannot actually read a putt because the ball bounces all over the place. Very disappointing to see how in just a year or so this course has gotten complacent with the little details that can make a huge difference for people going out of their way to play the course. I played with a member and when he told me what he pays to be a member at that course I was shocked. If they don't get it together ( and I hope they do, because its a beautiful layout and great clubhouse) they will lose members to Old Fort and many of the other premium golf courses in the area that actually make sure the course is in good shape year round.

Winter golf
We got a hot deal & took advantage of the 50° weather. The ground, other than #1 teebox, was very soft but expected after the rain & snow from the last few weeks. Greens very soft but slow & real bumpy. Conditions as expect for January golf after bad weather but we got a hot deal & a warm day to make the most of it!
Awesome Greens
Always in good shape, even when the weather throws the superintendent a kink. Excellent greens, roll true and quick.
Fun course
Play Indian hills a lot . Great place to play around of golf .
Excellent Public Course
This was the first time I played the course. It is an accepting layout . . the fairways are well maintained . . The greens have moderate speed. All in all, a very pleasant round.
GPS Functionality on Cart Path Only Round
GPS accuracy on systems installed on golf carts is atrocious. Golf cart repeatedly shut down during round instructing to get back on cart path. I have no idea how much more centered I could be on path. A minor problem yet annoying and surely costly to both the Golf Course and passed to the consumers.
