Indian Hills Golf Course

Indian Hills is one of the best public courses in central Tennessee. The conditions are superb and it’s a diverse layout.

I booked a round online using their online scheduler. We just finished hole 1 and a torrential rain came that had every golfer on the course back at the club house. They refused to give a rain check to me because it was a hot deal online. As we are standing there the manager says that they don't refund by rounds they refund based on the holes you played vs the amount you paid. Therefore, I should have been given a credit for 17 holes of play at the discounted rate. If I used my credit and my round was more, I gladly would've paid the extra but now I paid 31 and played 1 hole. I won't be back and I definitely won't recommend friends play there.

Great round of golf but pace was terribly slow; several groups backed up.

I dont like the fact that if two people go to play you have to play with two other people that you dont know, i didnt care much for that and it slowed us down alot. The gps guided golf carts werent the best because it restricts you from half of the course and when you go out of where they want you to go the cart just dies and you have to push it. A little pricy i think for how the course condition is. It was a decent experience probably will go back soon just because its close to home

Second time playing this course. Greens in good condition now, improved over ten days ago when last played. Staff is friendly. Some challenging holes, enjoyed the variety. Solid value.

Overall landscaping of course and surrounding area is exquisite. Greens were very fast, consistent, and extremely well maintained given the amount of play they receive. Fairways were cut tight, ball ran well, and errant shots were penalized accordingly. The course is not very long, but you need to place your shots well to score well. Bunkers did not usually come into play. The surrounding terrain has it all--trains, river, houses--an amazing layout for an urban course! Carts ran great, and the GPS technology is a plus. The only negative were the somewhat unlevel tee boxes that receive lots of traffic, i.e., lots of divots. All in all a great golf outing to enjoy.

Really good overall course. Well maintained and up kept. Occasionally the owner or operator can be rude. Aside from that, it’s one of the best courses for the value in the Murfreesboro area.
