Arrowhead Golf Course
About
Arrowhead Golf Club in Naples offers a challenging championship course that is easily accessible from Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs, and downtown Naples. The course winds through 16 sparkling lakes. Although water is a prominent presence, the hazards are often only along the perimeter. The golf course is high handicapper-friendly with large greens and generous landing areas that provide plenty of room for recoveries but the back tees are a challenging test for more advanced players with sand bunkers and water hazards. The greens are also a diverse mix offering some that are framed with bunkers and others that are invitingly open and flat. There is ample room off of the tees but don't let your iron skills get rusty since there are a few tight approaches and forced carries. Arrowhead Golf Club's undulating fairways can also be tricky and the putting surfaces have multiple tiers.

Nice course
Nice course and great condition. In-season pricing for Feb is too high. I have always seen Arrowhead and a nice round on my trips, but $200 is steep
Nice course
The course was generally in good condition with the exception of the greens. Players need to repair their ball marks. Greens were terribly bumpy from ball marks. When one pays so much for a round of golf, extra money for range balls is unacceptable! Especially when we had to wait to even hit balls at the range. Crazy busy! We had to wait at each hole as it was busy.
Great course but over priced
The course layout, staff and amenities were great but over priced. Course was in the best condition I've seen it. The fadc that the driving range was unavailable except for irons off of flat mats was disappointing to say the least---especially 35% of the range was devoted to lessons, but there were only 2 people taking those lessons.
$50 course $200 fee
I have played many courses across the US and would like to think I have a decent scope of what to expect from courses per the price. This course and its offering fall among the $35-$55 price range, not the $200 weekend price tag.
Would like to start off by saying the Staff was friendly. Nothing more than what you should expect from people. If I paid ~ $40 - $60 I would have been okay with my experience.
Reasons:
The driving range (off matts) has very limited space and is available to those with tee-times and those without. If you’re coming during the day you likely will not be able to utilize it due to matt available. You are also hitting into the wind, which doesn’t really give you the best idea of your current game. Lastly it is water, not grass.
The pace of play was difficult. The tee times are spread out every 7 minutes. It often took 5-6 minutes of waiting on every tee box to tee off. The Marshall came through twice and didn’t make any mention. Side note, he drove through the tee box…
The tee boxes were fair, some were narrow and didn’t have much grass available on level ground to tee off. The greens were quite slow and bumpy as well 1.5/5. Fairways were nice 3.5/5. Bunkers were average 2.5/5.
Lastly I signed up as a single, and was paired in a cart with a stranger. That isn’t new or unheard of, but for $200 I expect my own cart.
The Layout isn’t necessarily hard, long, or difficult. There isn’t really a situation where a 0-10 handicap is being challenged by club selection.
For $200 I expected much more. I wouldn’t recommend unless the price drop significantly.
Course was in great condition.
The greens were kind of slow, but the course was an excellent shape, and the pace was good time took us four hours.
Lovely course but there are things to consider
Played whilst on holiday 5th Feb 2024, there was nothing to fault about the course at all, nice layout, well maintained greens, fairways and bunkers, a good challenge for the Club Golfer off the back or Tournament tees & would be a real challenge off the Championship tees which we avoided, so it is a very good course to play if you can afford the high green fee.
We would never consider paying those charges here in the UK for a comparable course and morning round, so booked on line with a 3pm tee time which at $85 was about the right price in our opinion for a round, however, beware if you do this, on getting in the cart a notice flashed up saying carts had to be back by 6pm, you are not going to get 18 holes in at this time of year starting then & we were not told this when booking online which was very annoying. As the course was not too busy the "starter" who was a true gent got us off slightly early & we did make it round even though the play in front was a little slower than you would have liked. The other point to note is the exorbitant price of range balls at $18-21 plus tax for a large basket - I assume this only applies to visitors! But don't let that put you off playing here.
The course was well maintained. The starter was gregarious and knowledgable. The course was not long and suited older players like myself.
First Time Playing
Course was in excellent condition. It was real nice to play on green fairways in Feb. Greens were in great condition, a bit slow on the front 9, we played at 8am, impact of overnight watering. Staff very friendly, starter got our group out a bit ahead of schedule.
