About
Arrowhead Golf Club in Naples offers a challenging championship course that is easily accessible from Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs, and downtown Naples. The course winds through 16 sparkling lakes. Although water is a prominent presence, the hazards are often only along the perimeter. The golf course is high handicapper-friendly with large greens and generous landing areas that provide plenty of room for recoveries but the back tees are a challenging test for more advanced players with sand bunkers and water hazards. The greens are also a diverse mix offering some that are framed with bunkers and others that are invitingly open and flat. There is ample room off of the tees but don't let your iron skills get rusty since there are a few tight approaches and forced carries. Arrowhead Golf Club's undulating fairways can also be tricky and the putting surfaces have multiple tiers.

Very nice course
We were able to get in 12 holes due to our late tee time. The course was in beautiful shape. Our friends enjoyed the round also

Very nice public course
We played arrowhead with 2 guests that were visiting. We played late in the day and were able to get in 11 holes. The grass in the fairways was very nice and the greens were great.

Great layout and condition! My new favorite course to play in the Naples area. Played in 4 hours on a Sunday morning. The greens made you think… I think they could be a bit quicker!
Fact Check: Not the #1 Public Course in Florida!
We were told by another golfer and the starter that this is the # 1 public course in Florida.
When googled, it is not listed in the top 75.
It is no way near the level of great public courses. It is an average public course with good but small and slow greens and an average and often ill planned layout. For instance, one par four has a shoot to hit thru with nothing but water in front. The landing area can't be seen and is blocked by 70 foot trees 40 yards in front of the tee box. The only ways to hit the fairway is to play it over the edge of the water and play a 30 yard cut or hit your drive within 5 feet of the trees and cut it 10 yards. Perhaps a 9 iron over the trees would work if you can carry that 200 yards.
There were a lot of poorly designed holes and many areas of poorly maintained turf.
If you are expecting a course close to a private course or as nice as Old Corkscrew, don't come here.
I will never play here again even if it was free.

We have been in Naples since Dec snd have played many courses here. This one is the best yet. Great layout and conditions and the value is good considering in season in Naples
We will be back and look forward to another great round
