Arrowhead Golf Course
About
Arrowhead Golf Club in Naples offers a challenging championship course that is easily accessible from Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs, and downtown Naples. The course winds through 16 sparkling lakes. Although water is a prominent presence, the hazards are often only along the perimeter. The golf course is high handicapper-friendly with large greens and generous landing areas that provide plenty of room for recoveries but the back tees are a challenging test for more advanced players with sand bunkers and water hazards. The greens are also a diverse mix offering some that are framed with bunkers and others that are invitingly open and flat. There is ample room off of the tees but don't let your iron skills get rusty since there are a few tight approaches and forced carries. Arrowhead Golf Club's undulating fairways can also be tricky and the putting surfaces have multiple tiers.

Poor value for money and poor course conditions
Poor value for money and poor course conditions. One of the more expensive courses. No range balls included in price. Fairways not cut. Every single tee box and grass taller than in the rough. Hard to tee you ball high enough to not get grass between your ball and driver, wood or any other club. Played with someone else in our group and they shared the same view, but had the added insult of paying for an Uber to get to the course and have the same experience. Not sure we would ever play there again.
One complaint
Why am I paying for 18 holes when the carts have to be in at 5:30pm? Can I get a 9 hole rate since I start at 4:15 pm and can only play till 5:30pm. Can I get a rain check to finish the round. That’s my only complaint. All else is good.
Poor value for what you get
Expensive, no range balls included. Greens slow, fairways not mowed, tee boxes horrible. Not sure when they last mowed the tee boxes, as the height of the grass was higher than in the fairways. Hard to actually tee the ball high enough to not get grass between your driver and the ball. Forget any other club. We played with another out-town visitor and his comments would have been worse. How disappointing.
$120!? For 2 inch grass height on all tee boxes?
Very typical layout of courses in this area. What I didn’t like was paying $120 and on ever tee box the grass was 1-1/2-2 inches tall….I voiced this to the staff afterwards and it didn’t seem that big of a deal I them. There are so many better courses for $120 even if this was in top notch condition it’s a $70 course, spend your money on another course
May find better value elsewhere.
Nice course layout with very good conditions. Pace of play was hurt by tee times scheduled 7 minutes apart. Very crowded @4.5 hour round. Our cart froze up twice. To my amazement, when I called the clubhouse he said "turn the key to off and jerk backwards on the gas pedal 3 times.". It worked, but obviously their carts have been a regular problem.
Pristine
Course is in pristine condition. Greens are like carpets. And such a fun layout- a pick your poison kinda track. Lots of risk/reward shots.
Only good things to say about this course
Found the course friendly and challenging for really all levels of golfers. The greens are in great shape, they are challenging but not too much.My wife and I have played there four times this year, and everyone was a good experience.
Nice option for SW Florida
Great day golfing with friends.
My only complaint is the course has too many short par 4’s. Maybe I’m not used to Florida target golf.
Overall I would recommend this course.
.
Was actually a very fun course to play. Moved up to 6,000 yards and the course and shot making were still challenging but interesting and fun
A Nice Course in Naples
I spent 10 days in Naples and played 4 courses. I was staying in the south of Naples, and Arrowhead was only 20 minutes away. My favourite course in the area was Forest Glen, followed by Arrowhead. An interesting lay-out with lots of variety. I played from the second tees (roman numeral II) and would say the course a fair test for the decent golfer (my index is 11). Pace of play was excellent. The driving range, water station and first tee are all close together near the pro shop. I would definitely play Arrowhead again.
