About
Arrowhead Golf Club in Naples offers a challenging championship course that is easily accessible from Ft. Myers, Bonita Springs, and downtown Naples. The course winds through 16 sparkling lakes. Although water is a prominent presence, the hazards are often only along the perimeter. The golf course is high handicapper-friendly with large greens and generous landing areas that provide plenty of room for recoveries but the back tees are a challenging test for more advanced players with sand bunkers and water hazards. The greens are also a diverse mix offering some that are framed with bunkers and others that are invitingly open and flat. There is ample room off of the tees but don't let your iron skills get rusty since there are a few tight approaches and forced carries. Arrowhead Golf Club's undulating fairways can also be tricky and the putting surfaces have multiple tiers.

This course is in great condition. I was a single and originally scheduled to go out at 9:37 with a group of 3. As I was checking in they asked if I would be hitting range balls. I told them no, because it probably would not help. They then said they could send me out at 9:22 with a group of 2 and would probably be able to get through the round a little quicker. I jumped at the opportunity and went out with a father and son.
The weather that weekend was cooler than usual but still was great. Greens were in great condition but little slower than the practice green (typical). Just like most Florida courses this one had a lot of water throughout. Bunkers were well maintained. Beautiful landscape views, wildlife (no gators seen) and good playing partners made it a very enjoyable experience.
Pace of play Horrible
Incredibly frustrating when you tee off before 9 am and play 18 holes in 4 hours and 30. The group in front of you is 2 1/2 to 3 holes behind the group in front of them. Very tough to enjoy the day when the group behind you is playing right behind you as they should be. Plus someone was dragging their feet leaving cleat marks on green and not raking bunkers.
Overpriced
Layout is fine, but the greens are terrible. Incredible they get $159 for this course. It’s worth $60-80.
Great value for Naples golf
I play Arrowhead 2 or 3 times a year when I visit Naples during the winter. Their staff is friendly and helpful. The course is always in solid shape and I would rank the layout just below the costly courses ($250 - 400) in the area, and much more interesting than the inexpensive tracks ($120 and down). 4 1/2 stars from me!
Nice Track
A nice public course with good pace of play and extremely friendly staff. Actually we tee'd off a few minutes early so well run from a tee time perspective. Just wish the greens were a little faster and every par 3 tee box needed to be cut lower and match the tee boxes from the other holes. Price was $159 so total above included a bucket of range balls. I would recommend to give it try.
Pace of Play
This is one of my favorite courses to play but it is not cheap. I wish for the price they would make ‘some’ effort to keep play moving. On nearly, every hole we had to wait to play. This ruined the experience.
Overpriced
the course has a nice layout. The golf course is not $150 course.
Nice courses but not worth the money
Arrowhead GC was a nice layout but the greens were slow and not in the best condition for the fee this course charges. Also, the grass on the par-3 tee boxe were long (rough long!).
