Club at Hidden Creek, The

Enjoyed the course. Great layout. Pace of play was good. Greens in good shape for this time of year. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to players of all skills

It's February so you know the fairways will be bare and a bit hard. Greens are still good, very fast but true. The layout gives you a lot to be careful of or you're going to make a big number. Snack bar is awesome, hand made sandwiches are the best, hot dogs are huge. Beers and even bloody mary are priced right. Nice pro shop, nice staff, nice little bar for post round beverage. Driving range is decent too.

The course layout was fair; the greens were fast. I enjoyed the three persons I was paired with which made the day very enjoyable! I played the middle white tees which made the course manageable. The course has a reasonable amount of bunkers, ponds, trees and grass mounds throughout the fairways to give the course character and challenge. I played the course in the winter season, so the fairways had not greened up yet which caused fairways to have typically very tight lies. Near the greens I pitched the ball to the green instead of my typical higher trajectory wedge play. The course green fees were reasonable and I would play again. The pro shop allowed me to play with denim jeans but I was asked to wear my rain pants over them to comply with dress code; I had a collared shirt which complied with course dress code. Pro shop was nice about dress code because I did not know their specific rules.

The course layout is great and the greens are fast. The back 9 is a little tighter than the front. It was our first time playing and we will be back. The play was somewhat slow. They do have cart service and a snack bar. The clubhouse bar was open but they didn’t serve food. Oh well. Overall a great experience.

Many times I go out solo and h c always manage to pair me up with compatible partners

I was hassled by the marshal in the middle of my round for walking on the course even though I called the club before my round on the same day and was told by a woman on the phone that walking is allowed. Sad.

I guess the club has a policy that only members are allowed to walk, which I can understand, but I don't believe anyone told me that before my round.

I don't like the way I was treated by the marshall on the course. He was treating me like a criminal in the middle of my round. He was questioning me and relaying information on his walkie talkie as I stood by him. I stood with him for like 5 minutes (maybe more than 5 minutes) in the middle of my round, because I was walking on the course. Plus, I was a single with a twosome in front of me, and I was right on their tail. I don't believe I as a single was causing a massive traffic jam behind me on the course with poor pace of play. My pace, in my opinion, was fine, but a little slower without a cart.

That is my worst experience ever with a marshall.

The woman working in the pro shop who worked with me before my round was upbeat and friendly, and the course was in pretty good condition, but parts were wet and soggy. Also, 1 par 5 was reduced to a par 3.

The course was pretty good, but I recommend golfing somewhere else.

Great course layout , course is very wet in areas.will play again.

This is my favorite course in the Pensacola/ Navarre area.

However today the number one handicapp hole,par 5 was under construction

And the temporary t box made it a par 3

The staff did not mention this when we signed up To play and there was no adjustment to the

Greens fee.

Due to heavy rain the revious week, the sand traps were mostly flooded and there was much standing water ( lakes) in the fairways.

Much of this is unavoidable but players should be forewarned and adjust green fees

My husband and i played this for first time last year. I am getting ready to book it again for this next beach trip in a few weeks. We loved it so much that I think we will play it 2 days out of the 4 that we will be golfing. You will not be sorry if you play this course. Challenging yet doable for those that are high handicapped like myself. Cannot wait to get back out there!

I play this course when I’m at the coast. I fear the word getting out on this jewel. Had rained for three days non-stop but sand based fairways and greens drained quickly and were remarkably playable.

Hidden Creek has been a favorite course until recently. Water issues consume several holes. Major construction has bottle-necked two holes. These things are unavoidable. Booking too many golfers within a two hour period is avoidable but they continue to do this. The golfing experience has become unpleasant. Finishing 18 holes in 3-4 hrs. Is unlikely. Unfortunate!

The only negative during the round was the work done on # 7 &8. The adjustment for the work did not harm the round.

it's December, so things are not perfect but very playable. Greens are slick but very true, bunkers are all raked nicely, rough is playable, some tee boxes are very thin. Course is a little muddy in some places from lots of rain but they do their best to keep carts away. Good Day

First time playing here. Really nice lay out and greens great shape. I will be playing there again

The course marshals need to make sure the players are keeping pace of play. I don't think that boom boxes should be allowed on the course at all!
