Husker golfer
Had to wait 15 minutes for a cart due to 2 hour frost delay in the morning. Made pace of play pretty slow. Winter conditions, so not much green grass.
Winter golf
Course layout is good, but conditions this time of year(January) are not ideal. Played in 3 hours 10 minutes, which was very nice. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Over 80 gang
We try and play once a week. Just a best ball game. The course is in fairly good condition for this time of the year. Recommend this course for our snow birds.
Over 80's best ball
We try and get out once a week and play a best ball game. It's a great way to play and speed up the game. We have all played lots of golf in our lifetime. The Oaks course is in great condition for this time of the year. Recommend this style of play for senior golfers who still enjoy the game.
Best Ball Play
We play a best ball match most weeks. The course is on good condition for this time of the year. We are all over 80 years old. Playing best ball gets us out of the house and we have played our own ball to many times to count. Works for us and it would probably work for many Senior citizens.
Over 80 best ball
We try and golf once a week and play a best ball game. It gets us out of the house and gives us some much needed exercise . The course is in pretty good condition for this time of the year. Golf Now makes it a very enjoyable day. Recommend this course and style of play for all senior citizens
Christmas Golf
My son and I went out and played the Oaks course. The course is in good shape for the winter and we had a great time.
Totle
Great price for being a public course. Greens were in great shape.
Good value
The fairways were nice. Greens and tee white tee boxes need a little improvement
Best course for the money around here.
We tried to save a few dollars by paying in advance, but the website wouldn’t let us.
Nice time
On vacation. Played there twice. Good challenge for all skill levels. Some Greens need some work. Overall great time. Will play again next time down.
Enjoyable day of golf
People were very friendly. Can’t beat the price for the course. Would recommend for the average golfer
aymac should play his own course but anyway, shame the 3 dipheads that never let anyone playing faster than them play through and their dramatics when they hit a bad shot are just juvenile.
A Good Value
This course is a great value course for a pleasant round. The greens could use some work but are playable. The course is narrow, which keeps it challenging. Overall, we had a very enjoyable round and would play again.
And now to give an actual helpful insight. Word is the tee boxes on the Pines are getting pretty beat up. Members evidently have besides no manners or courtesy on the golf course no ability to fix their divots either. Friend of mine and his old co-worker played today and there was a 2some slower than a 4 some and the 4some of course thought they owned the course and would not let them play through. I would not have thought golf members were ruder than the visitors but guess I was wrong. 4 hours for a round of golf is ridiculous when the course is not remotely busy. Marshals need to step on people a bit and have them play faster or not play at all.
