Mountain Brook Golf Club

They are diligently working on the course, especially on the sprinkler system!

On number 1 , I got to call “fore” as I smacked a cart 😜 (He was in my line from the tee box.)

The crew were all great and we just worked around each other!

Mountain Brook is a fun course with beautiful views.

We have played Mountain Brook several times in the past 5 years. The course’s condition, especially the greens the last 2 years were outstanding. Not the case yesterday. I understand the need to aerify in the summer months to reduce thatch and promote bermuda growth, but the healing process and having the greens playable was no where near what we had experienced in the past couple of summers. Many courses in the area have found better, less damaging methods of aerification and are able to get their greens back to normal playability. Mountain Brook has taken a giant step backward from previous practices. Very disappointed to pay for these conditions.

Check in guy and Starter always pleasant. 2 hooked were under construction and they told us ahead of to be so was no issue. Appreciated the heads up

Grass is thin in lots of places. Greens were aerified and sanded last week so bumpy and slow.

Played on Father’s Day, so expected to be a little slow, but it took almost five (5) hours to complete our round due to how slow it was in front of us. Greens were in rough shape (people not repairing their ball ball marks). For the price paid though, it was a good day.

This course has everything. It’s a good course for everybody. It’s not real long. It’s in great shape fairways greens tees great price. I suggest everyone to try it. I’ll play here. Every chance I get.

The course was in nice shape but I feel the fairways were cut awfully short. Greens were in real nice shape. Sand traps had plenty of sand and very playable, if you were unfortunate enough to enter them.
