Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

The course is in great shape, greens are in excellent condition. Pace of play was a bit of an issue. We never saw a marshall during our round. The course is enough of a challenge for even low handicap players. A great value for the cost.

Good marshal!

Course is in good condition. Had a 4some of ladies in front of us that were quite slow. Asked marshal to get them moving, and he did. Nice to finally see a marshal do what he is supposed to do. Pleasant surprise.

Played on a Sunday at 12:52. They claim they want a 4 hr round, but we waited on every hole and the round took 4:40. Course is nice. Not worth the normal $100+ rate, but at $75 it is worth playing.

Really had alot of fun with a fellow Veteran and being out there for the first time. Played with a Canadian couple who were very friendly. Overall the course was fun the greens were challenging to say the least. I will be playing this course again within the next 3 to 4 weeks.
