Nestled at the base of the Superstition Mountains, Mountainbrook Golf Club offers a player-friendly course with beautiful views of mountains and desert hills. Given its location, the golf course is mostly flat, making it a nice walk. The layout combines that of a desert course and a mountain course for an interesting variety of holes and challenges. The fairways are relatively wide and some are lined with trees and the fairly large greens are sloped and fast. Sand bunkers are situated throughout the course and two lakes create water hazards that come into play on the back nine. Mountainbrook Golf Club's signature hole is the par-5 16th, which has a dogleg left fairway and a green that is well guarded by bunkers and mounding.

Pace of Play

Course was in fantastic shape and staff was great. However, pace of play was terrible. We were waiting at minimum 10-12 minutes on every tee box starting with hole number 2. The Ranger stated that he would speak with group in front of us, yet nothing changed.

The group in front of us: Ex- par 5 they are 300 plus yards away from the hole and waiting for the group in front of them to clear the green. Completely unacceptable yet it happened on most every hole. Frustrating, but what can you do.

Overall, great course and will definitely play again.

Always a good value...after the snowbird prices drop.

Really like this track. Straightforward tee to green. The course's defense is the greens. Get in the wrong place, you're looking at at least three putts.

It's a great value, the staff is phenomenal. You're a a daily fee course and are treated like you're at a private club.

Great golf experience!

Booked an early tee time ( 607 a.m) to beat the heat. Course is fairly easy to play and straightforward layout, but fairways were nice and greens were immaculate. Definitely some places where it's a shot makers course. Really enjoyed the round and would play again.
